Big white X on their bodies resembles scars that they got when they were alive. Sometimes it's even their causes of death.
Shadows usually won't remember about their life. There are some exceptions.
Shadows is highly connected to shadow mages and so they lured to them as moths to light.
They can become tied with human or animal, becoming partners for life or being a leech.
When tied they cannot wander freely around the world and should stay near by eachother.
