Starfall

Starfall is a graphic novel in the works by Des Kaul (Me)

The world takes place in a parallel timeline similar to ours, except an unexpected merge with magic occurred. The story follows several grad students and thugs that team up despite their difference to uncover the mystery of "Aaron"; an alien that crash landed on the planet with amnesia. Team Starfall (named by Mark, one of the protagonists) discovers that an alien invasion is about to occur, and Aaron was trying to warn "The One Without Sight"; AKA the one destined to save the planet and the alien species from corruption. The team finds out that Mark is the chosen human, and with his team and some allied aliens, they face off against the alien overlord "The Genesis". They successfully ward off the overlord and free the alien species from its control, and the planet becomes a haven for the species. Mark and Aaron get together at the end.
