Dexette contest
Hello and welcome to our first ever contest for the species! Since we’ve revamped a lot we’re feeling a lot more comfortable about the amount of people in the group and comfortable with hosting a contest all together! We’ll be hosting this contest on multiple platforms to give everyone a chance; Deviantart, Toyhou.se and Discord!

Little reminder but if you haven’t joined our discord yet, you can do so here!

This time we’ve revamped our thoughts and we hope the brief is a lot easier to follow. So let’s get onto it shall we?

Brief
We’re looking for a mascot for the species, Dexettes. Something that will just scream ‘Dexette’ We want our mascot to be user friendly, and easy to reference if you’re looking for trait examples, taking part in prompts and such. We don’t mind the details, just limit yourself in doing so!

We’re leaving the theme of the design up to you! But something eye-catching, fantasy-esque and magical would be excellent to capture the beauty of both species coming together.

♥ Of course the basic traits are needed for a Dexette.
- Fins (Must be all one type)
- Tail (Any shape, size)
- Charms embedded anywhere on the ears and tail. (3 total)

- Fins on the tail
- Weapons / Accessories

Where to submit
So you’ve finished your design… Now where do we submit it? Since we’re hosting on multiple platforms we’re wanting you to submit in the following places (please only submit to one)

♥ Toyhouse - (Either of the above options!)



Deadlines and additional information
This contest will run from April 16th and finish May 31st Which will give you a good chunk of time to take part and finish up your designs! Judging will take place throughout the beginning of June and the winner will be decided shortly thereafter. ♥

This contest needs at least 5 participants to begin!! Our issue last time consisted of not many entries, so in order for this contest to run, we need at least 5 people to join! If we feel the brief wasn’t met we have a right to re-run the contest.

Rules

1) Designs can be on base or off base, this will be an equal chance for all and we want everyone to feel comfortable!

2) The mascot MUST be designed with only common + rare traits, this is mostly so any designs made in the contest can be reused if they don’t win! If you’re unsure what counts for those, please refer back to our trait sheet to refresh!

3) Designs must be your own, bases must be credited ALWAYS.

4) You must be OK with giving the design to the species owners if you win to act as the mascot for the species! There is a chance you may be able to keep your design at the end, if it does not win!

5) If you’re collabing with someone you will be sharing the prize, there won’t be double. Please be aware of this before entering.

6) Changes could be made to the final design, we will of course always ask permission before doing so. Be sure to be open to this question if you win!

7) If you do not win, you’re able to reuse the design you submitted, however you will need a MYO slot in matching rarity to use it!

8) You can enter multiple times HOWEVER you can only win one tier and one prize.

9) You do not need to own a Dexette to enter this contest, in fact this is a fun way to get into the community!

10) Designs you’ve made can be traded to others ONCE they have been approved w/ an official MYO. Please do not give designs away until they have been officially approved.

- Your design will be the new mascot of the species, leaving the ownership with us! You will be credited for the design!
- Receives ONE Unlimited Dexette MYO with Admin traits*
*This MYO slot can be traded or gifted to someone else however you CANNOT resell it under any circumstances. As this slot is also free, sending it into the exchange will be denied.
*This MYO can be designed by you or anyone you commission!

Runner ups (2 places)
- Will receive Rare Dexette MYOs (1 each) for participation*
