Otters

"Otters are adorable. This is a well known fact. But unknown to most is the reason. It is not for themselves. Not entirely at least. But for the benefit of all. Their cuteness can be very distracting and difficult to look away from. That is why. How many times have you felt awful until you saw a video of a cute otter and forgotten what you were upset about? At least once. Admit it."

"They say that otters are always playing. But that's simply not true! Sometimes, they're asleep. Though it is true that otters spend a lot of time playing. What better way to spend that seemingly endless amount of energy? And they don't want to miss any of the fun to be had, so they are always on the move. What is best in life? Playtime!"

"Otters are known far and wide for being silly. It's one of the main things people love about them! But this is not taught to them. It's something they have to learn through experience. And the reason for it is not widely known. While they may seem child-like with their innocence, cuteness, constant playing and their silliness, they are in fact rather wise. Wise enough to know that the best way to get through life is with playtime, humor, and the seldom spoken truth that one should not take themselves too seriously. Because nobody else is!"

"A lesser known fact about otters? They are some of the toughest critters around. Surprised? Join the club. They know that cuteness, a good sense of humor and playfulness are the best ways to cushion the blows of life. Rarely will you find a depressed or sad otter. If you do, worry not. It will not last long. They are the best at bouncing back from bad news and misfortune. We would all do well learning from their example."
