To give a gist overview, over the last ~6 months, my 12 y/o husky mix Lou has been dealing with some health issues. At the start, he was showing weird counts within his urine during his annual exam, which we did several urinalysis and determined it might be a UTI, for which he was per-scripted antibiotics. It worked like a charm and everything seemed all good.
Flash forward a few months, he started to show his lethargic nature again, to which we consulted our vet and we continued to monitor it - making small changes to his lifestyle to see if it helped improved, which it seemed to do. Since his last visit, we were told to put him on a diet to help with him aging, so it was easy to say maybe he was being underfed or just not getting enough nutrients from his diet - to which we altered the system to benefit him.
Continuing to the last 2 weeks, I noticed his urine being darker and then suddenly at the tail end of the stream being bloody. We made an appointment asap and got him in. During that consult, his vitals seemed all good; he loss weight (which is good for his joints!), no obvious signs of any wounds, masses, etc. Visually, he looks healthy as a horse. During another urinalysis, they discovered something was definitely not right with the counts, but couldn't say that its a UTI for sure. However, the only means to really know whats up is to get an x-ray and ultrasound. The concern is that there may be stones within his bladder or worse, a mass within it. They also want to get a sample from his bladder directly to see if the 'infection' is there or further up the tract (kidneys or prostate).
This is where my dilemma comes into this: The antibiotics are not working. He definitely has more life and peppiness to himself, but the bloody urine and UTI-like symptoms are still present. No matter what, we have to get a ultrasound at minimal, which is an upfront $450 cost. His vet visits have been $150-$200 each visit, including medicine, so currently we are at around a ~$400 in vet fee with the looming $450 on our head. I have no idea what the additional urinalysis will be, but my guess is around ~$100-$300. Then there is the situation of if they find stones, we could be looking at around ~$100-$1000 depending on if we only need medicine or if we need to go the surgical route. If it's a mass and/or cancer, we could be looking at a couple thousand. In total, I'm looking at needing around ~$2000 if it's the least worse-case-scenario.
Being real here, I acknowledge the fact I may have to put my dog down. It's something myself and my husband have discussed at lengths on how we will manage that. Our first priority is him and making sure that he isn't suffering. With that said tho, we will have to pay the costs of humanly euthanizing him & getting a little memorial for him if that comes up, which I know will roughly run around ~$500 due to previous experiences. However, we still want to try to save him, as despite being 12, he is still so full of life. Most people don't even believe he is 12 just by looking at him, let alone his usual energy levels and playfulness, which is why this is much more difficult to simple accept it might be his time. I don't want to give up fighting for him but unlike us humans where we have insurance and means to receive better healthcare, he cannot get the same sort of treatment. This is where I'm asking for help, even if you cannot spare extra from your own finances, sharing and spreading the word helps more than you know.

By my reputation, I almost never close my customs to anyone, and usually will work with anyone on bringing their fursonas or characters to life in the virtual world. That being said, I will keep them close for an extended period of time. My Term of Service must be followed at all time regardless of order type. My additional fees listed under the imvu tab will not apply during this special period. Other services will still apply within that same tab. Turn around times will vary vastly depending on the quantity of orders as well as queue position. All payments are upfront. There are no holds. Multiple combos can be purchased.

I don't expect everyone to be able to afford the above prices especially on such short notice. I am in no position to really pass up on any money offered, so this is where that all falls.
These will not be first come first server and will be the lowest priority in queue unless it's a customized offer within the similar values above.
I will not work for pennies on the dollar and still can decline an offer if the time spent and effort put forth will not be fairly represented. That also being said, this is a good time to scoop up a cheaper custom or art if you don't mind waiting.

If you're here on an adopt I made, wanting a TOS on it:
I'm pretty flexible with my designs. As long as you're not editing the linearts without permission, altering the adopt to look like another of my own or someone else's character, or trying to sell something you received in a art/trade, go crazy! It's your character. Edit them to your preferences, likes, and interest. If you don't want them anymore, you're welcome to trade, sell or give them away.
I do ask that they stay on Toyhou.se to keep better track for myself.
If you are an IMVU/SL user: If you plan to make them public exclusives, please let me know beforehand! Some designs I would like to see them be publicly made for everyone, or at minimum, myself to get a copy of it (since more money will be made than what it was purchased for tenfold!)

Worry not! I generally favourite characters because I really like their designs! That being said, some of them I do view as "dreamies", and I know for some people that is frowned upon. I do my best to not disrespect the character's owner, and will generally not approach or inquire about the character unless the owner takes the first step by putting them up for sale. I mostly just want to keep tabs and appreciate them through the art the owner purchases/make. I also will favourite things already for sale that interest me, obviously. If you have any questions about someone I fav, please poke me about it!
