✧ if you have any trouble with me redesigning, changing, selling, trading, etc. the characters you transfer to me, i am sadly not interested in obtaining them! please ensure that characters given to me are being transferred with full commercial and personal rights. i do not accept restrictive terms of service, so please do not offer characters to me that include such! 

✧ you will NEVER have to worry about me using my characters for hateful, political, harmful, or problematic purposes. i am also not interested in commissioning/drawing NSFW for any of my own characters.

✧ character rights will be transferred to you ONLY after you have completed payment - please do not use or claim ownership of the character until then! i will continue to hold the full rights of the character until you have completed your payment in-full.

✧ i will check up regularly (usually once a month) if i'm holding a character for you. if there is no communication, or if you constantly put other payments / projects before the owed work, i can and will cancel the trade and continue to reserve all rights to the character, despite how much progress has been made on your payments. if the trade is cancelled by you or by myself, all artwork, monetary payment, customs, designs, etc. you have given to me will stay in my possession.✧✧

✧✧ while this situation doesn't happen very often, it was necessary for me to include because of past experiences. please just communicate with me before i have to reach out - i don't mind waiting for a while, but i need communication and/or updates if i am to continue holding a character for you. most trades are cancelled around the 3-month mark after the user hasn't updated me or communicated with me unprompted. users who give me clear communication and who have genuine life circumstances preventing them from completing payment are given extra leniency. i don't want to feel like i am pestering anyone, but doubly don't want to be waiting on artwork for upwards of three months without communication. thank you for your understanding and please feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions about this rule!

design terms of service:

i. you may create redesigns to your heart's content, but please do not draw over my original artwork. please do not delete any of my original art or designs.

ii. once purchased, you have full legal, personal, and commercial rights to my designs! you may sell, gift, or trade them as you please.

iii. if i find that you have used any of my designs for hateful or harmful purposes, art, or depictions, you will be blacklisted from my work and not allowed to purchase future adopts or art.

iv. please do not remove my signature or claim that you or anyone else made the design. please provide proper credit to my toyhouse or any of my other socials found on my profile card.

artwork terms of service:

i. my artwork may not be used commercially without written permission/agreement.

ii. please do not remove my signature or claim that you or anyone else made my artwork. please provide proper credit to my toyhouse or any of my other socials found on my profile card when used.

iii. do not edit/draw over my artwork.

things to know when commissioning/trading with me: 

i. while i always do my best to follow character designs, please keep in mind that i take artistic liberty in a lot of my works. please do not expect me to create a carbon copy of your character's design - there will likely be small variations based on how i would like to artistically portray them. this is to preserve my own sanity and to make sure i can still have fun and be carefree in my work. 

ii. i prefer to create works that have symbolism and motifs included in them... that said, if your character has any symbols/motifs you'd like to see, let me know! i'd be happy to try and include them. 

iii. i am not comfortable drawing humans/humanoids, but i'm proficient in most other species. dragons are my favorites to draw.
