AKA. Avengers of Fucking Up
Synopsis: Neil Knight is eighteen years old. Laid back, considerate, gay as all hell, and obsessed with cryptozoology and the paranormal. He spends his time stargazing in hopes of finding alien life, searching for clues to old cold cases (much to the dismay and mild inconvenience of the local police), and hunting for haunted antiques at the local flea market, where he found an old Polaroid. Hoping to test it out, and maybe catch some cryptids, Neil takes it to the backwoods in his hometown, which puts him into the direct path of everything he's ever wanted.
This just so happens to take the form of an interdimensional, two foot tall, pink, talking otter. Named Sprinkle! (the exclamation point is apart of its name.)
This little beast quickly becomes Neil's best friend. Despite it's childishness, strong scent of frosting, and seeming lack of any and all mental facilities, this creature knows more about the universe than any other living soul Neil has ever met. And Sprinkle, quite frankly, just adores Neil, as Neil is kind, and gentle, and caters to the creatures adorable whims. Impulsive as it is, when Neil asks for it to show him the universe outside of its own, Sprinkle is eager to oblige. However, this new discovery and promise of an epic adventure, accidentally gets more than just Neil and his minute new friend involved.
Now, the hands of fate have stuck together the most unlikely crew of humans (and one otter) who must, unfortunately, prevent the end of reality as all know it.
What do a cryptid obsessed photographer, a depressed Redditor, a drug addicted former beauty queen, and a seventeen-year-old boy going on forty have in common? An otter with boundary issues, apparently. And a destiny bigger than the universe itself.
