Couple of things, first, self indulgent poll! Question: Do you read the lore/stories I write and put on my character profiles? (Not anon!)

Second, I have a lot, like A LOT of gem headcanons I want to finally get written down and put somewhere more- neat. I have an alt account I don't use as much, if I made that account into a hub for all my headcanon business would folks find it useful?

And third to all my many subscribers, just a thank you! Frankly I am shocked I have been able to amass over 200 of you guys, it warms my heart so much <3

What if pearls were aristocrats and diamonds were servants? What if the Gem Empire actually respected organic life instead of hating it?

Welcome to Gifts of the Sea! A universe that is just that! 

Ruled by the Mothers of Pearls, the Empire sees nature as it's creator, relying on the natural creation of gems to sustain itself. Yet it can't rely solely on that, so the creation of the high ranking Pearls supplies the Empire with the man-power it needs.

Join this new Empire, brings gems into the depths of the sea to experience something new. We start at the crux of the second Era, the first seems to be a mystery to most however...history was been lost, it is time to uncover it.

This project will let you create characters to be apart of the world, those characters will influence events and lore. Writings in the form of a journal from a high ranking pearl provide insight into the works of the Empire. Among other things, this project is made to be flexible and expand with its members!

- Empire focused on organic life, cherishing it
- Gems are created naturally by the universe then welcomed into the Empire
- First created were the Nacres (the Empresses), then the Abalones (the Princesses)
- Nacres & Abalones make Pearls, who are considered high aristocrats
- Diamonds on the other hand are quite common, often created shorter, due to how common they are, they are relegated to menial tasks/a lower rank

There is a world and discord (invite, click here). I would like to turn this into a more interactive project (writings, art, lore, etc.) and explore an alternative Empire set up with a bunch of people!
The discord at the time of writing is not fancy, mind you all of this is a concept and I will build it with the community it makes, if there is one

I'm super curious if I own any dreamy designs for someone out of any and all my folders, even my super special favored/sona folder

I dont check my stats that often but sometimes I just give it a peak and today I found out I have, checks paper, over 200 subscribers, like hello??
