Torridclan
Not many living creatures are able to thrive in such an unforgiving, dry and hot land such as the desert. A group of cats, led by a cat called Torridstar, managed to find their own way to survive in such harsh climate, forming a clan called Torridclan. Most of Torridclan founders are previously loners and strays, either abandoned by their twolegs in the desert or simply born there. They found a perfect place to set their camp, in an oasis, where they do not have to worry about not having enough water or food. Unfortunately Torridstar and most of the clan founders have passed away and now resides in Starclan, leaving the leadership to Quietstar.

Living in a harsh environment in the middle of a desert, cats with brown-ish pelt has higher chance of survival. Their body blends perfectly with their surroundings, preventing preys and predators alike to notice them. Some are ashen gray, ginger and tricolored, they also have a chance of survival. Meanwhile solid white, silver and black are rare. Despite the scorching heat, some Torridclan cats have long fur, to protect their body and paws from the hot air and sand, and during nighttime, the temperature might drop harshly.
Torridclan cats believe in Starclan, just like most of their neighboring clans. They believe that they have to follow the Warriors Code and that deceased cats will be ascending to Starclan, where their ancestors reside.
- The ability to withstand the harsh and extreme climate of the desert.
- Keen sense of smell and hearing to detect any prey movement beneath the sand.
- Uniquely designed mouth and teeth, allowing them to eat cactus and find water inside of it.
- Good sense of directions.
- Warriors: high stamina and agility, ability to work as a team to fight larger predators.
- Medicine Cats: familiar with herbs and plantlifes, have good memory to remember where a certain plant grows.
Most Torridclan cats have brown-ish pelt to blend in with their environment which consists mostly sand and dry grass. Some are ashen gray, some are ginger, while some are tricolored. Solid white, silver and black are rare (especially solid black as they absorbs heat quicker than other pelt colors).
Most Torridclan cats have medium to long fur to protect their body from the heat of the scorching sun and the coldest of night. Their fur grows around their paw pads as well, to protect their feet from the hot sand beneath them. Their fur might get wet after entering bodies of water, but they dry quickly thanks to the harsh sunlight.
The Desert
The Desert
Torridclan was located in an Oasis in the middle of a desert. Surrounded by dry and barren areas around them, the Oasis is their main source of their survival. The territory was surrounded by palm trees, Torridclan cats love to rest in the shade of the palm trees. The west part of the Oasis contains a big lush forest, the leader's den was located at the very north, while the rest of the dens were located at the east part of the Oasis, having the medicine den, nursery and elders' den the closest to the source of water. Hunting grounds surrounded the Oasis, where the clan hunt for their source of food. Patrolling cats tends to leave the territory during the night, when the sun has set and most of their preys came out of their burrows, knowing that most of them are in fact, nocturnal. Though they have to be aware of lurking predators, enemy clans and sometimes... roaming twolegs.
- The Oasis: this is where Torridclan resides, there will be consequences for any trespassers.
- Forest: the lush, greener part of the Oasis. Various herbs sometimes were found here.
- Lake: the main source of water, Torridclan cats love to swim and catch some fish in it. There is a rumor that starclan cats sometimes appears by the lake to send omens to the medicine cats.
- Hunting Grounds: the dry, grassy clearing that has been claimed by Torridclan as a part of their territory as a place for them to hunt.
