Cinderclan
(Ashenwind’s POV)
The flame spreads through the forest quicker than anticipated. Everything happened so fast, there is nothing going in the black tom's mind except to keep running, escaping the forest, and leaving his home behind…
The smell of burnt ash woke the young deputy up, he found himself lying near the river bank, his legs felt worn-out from constantly running, yet he managed to get up. Looking at the sight before his eyes, the forest in the distance, the place he once called home, left nothing but the scent of death.
“Ashenwind, you are alive.”
When he thought that all hope was lost, a familiar voice called out for his name. Before him stood Hopewhisper, a dear friend of his, the medicine cat, stepping closer to touch his nose onto Ashenwing’s nose. And with him, stood five more cats, all were his clanmates.
“Aspenstar, she… and the others… They are hunting with Starclan now.”
Hopewhisper exclaimed, sadly.
“What should we do now? You are our deputy, we will follow your order, unless you said otherwise.”
Echolotus asked him, worriedly. But then Ashenwind replied.
“We have to stick together. We may have lost our home, but we can’t give up hope now. Follow me.”

Ashenwind led the group of cats to the mountains, eventually finding an abandoned cave at mountainfoot. A place where the remaining survivors of the forest fire finally settles in. Their old home was reduced to nothing but ashes, yet the cinders remained, and they will continue to live on. Ashenwind, now becoming the leader, changed his name to Cinderstar, and decided to lead the clan ever since. And with that Cinderclan was born, the remains of a once proud clan of the forest.
The story recorded below only includes important events.
Moon 2: slatelilac brought in seaspots, a retired leader of coyoteclan.
Moon 3: tornpaw is now a warrior named tornfade, loner called purdyspots joined the clan, echolotus brought a rogue with broken bone called snailshade.
Moon 4: cinderstar brought in finchstripe, a retired leader of hazeclan, myrtledawn dislikes purdyspots.
Moon 5: echolotus and her patrol group found a mountain sheep stuck in a crevice, brought back plenty of meat and wool to keep them warm during leaf-bare.
Moon 6: seaspots was attacked by an eagle, myrtledawn took a snake bite protecting tornfade, echolotus got mangled tail fighting a fox.
Moon 7: slatelilac is thinking about kits.
Moon 8: slatelilac and echolotus are now mates.
Moon 9: cinderstar received a vision involving coyotes, tornfade protected myrtledawn from a rogue.
Moon 10: seaspots was worried about his former clanmates, found outside the clan territory, cinderstar assumed this has something to do with the vision.
Moon 11: finchstripe got greencough and broken leg.
Moon 12: cinderstar is proud to be able to lead the clan this far, no one had died as well.
Moon 2: finchstripe complained to purdyspots how staying in medicine den is a torture and fakes a stomachache.
Moon 3: echolotus seemed to have a big argument with cinderstar, cinderstar and hopewhisper encountered a starclan cat during herb gathering patrol, which turned out to be aspenstar, myrtledawn and tornfade brought a kittypet in called fireflyleaf, seaspots has a crush on hopewhisper.
Moon 4: echolotus was injured by an eagle.
Moon 5: finchstripe has recovered, tornfade stopped snailshade from eating some red berries- which turned out to be just some raspberries.
Moon 6: a loner brought in her kit named merrykit, leaving him under cinderclan's care, the kit lacked a tail, seaspots finally confessed to hopewhisper and they are now mates.
Moon 7: purdyspots has a crush on cinderstar, a patrol was ambushed by rogues but they managed to fight them off, snailshade killed one of the rogues, merrykit has been renamed wolfkit from her wolf-like pelt color.
Moon 8: echolotus is having a bad day, snailshade wears jay feathers on her tail.
Moon 9: birchheart and finchstripe was killed in a border skirmish with hazeclan, tornfade was chosen to be the new deputy, hopewhisper was grieving birchheart's death, echolotus caught a greencough.
Moon 10: seaspots became a temporary medicine cat while his mate was absent, echolotus died from greencough due to seaspots' lack of knowledge, slatelilac was heart-broken from his mate's death.
Moon 11: a kittypet joined the clan, and changed her name to haystreak, cinderstar planned on forming an alliance with coyoteclan.
Moon 12: hopewhisper and slatelilac were no longer grieving, seaspots retired due to old age and becomes a mediator instead.
