Accidental Aliens

No excuses, only explanations. Or at least that was the idea of the organization before Robert Fickle accidentally turned the G.S.D and the entire scientific community on their heads.  In an attempt to cover up the fact that aquatic Alien life had been discovered, let alone kidnapped then smuggled onto earth - Robert gave the media the best excuse and explanation he could come up with. Mermaids. They'd discovered....mermaids.

Though that was more than enough to get the news away from the truth, the government is now left with having to continue the coverup, and Robert Fickle, although he helped avoid a horrible issue, is no longer allowed anywhere near press conferences.
