  THE LIVEWIRE SOCIETY

"The year is 2752, three centuries after the human inhabitants of Kayn fled their dying, war-torn planet. On the small planet of Muraro, humanity is rebuilding and advancing. The rich are augmented with society's finest of technological upgrades, living amongst the tall skyscrapers that mark the innermost city circles. Humans and robots live in tandem with one another, with robots serving as tools and accessories for those rich enough to afford it... and as enforcers of the law for anyone foolish enough to go against it. Unsurprisingly, remnants of the very power struggle that had destroyed Kayn remain afloat in the Republic of Muraro. Democracy is a shallow afterthought in the electoral process - it is no secret that political candidates are bought into power, and those who campaign against such means disappear in the night, never to be heard of again.  "

"Erika is a citizen in one of the largest cities of Muraro. Born of little wealth and advanced into middle society thanks to her extraordinary talent as a chemist, she wishes for nothing more than to keep her head down, work, and make money to send her siblings. Yet she can't shake the feeling she's being watched, both by the city's robotic enforcers and by the shadows that seem to follow her wherever she goes..."

 STATS

Canon placement: Verse 1A

Storyline: Tangent with several stories to be revealed later on

Location: Muraro - A planet with strange properties and weather that force humanity to live within giant cities protected by force fields

Genre: Sci-fi! Lots of technology, aliens, corrupt governments, human vs. machine, and existential queries

Misc: This is the largest story of mine and currently being planned/written. It originated as a concept in the year of 2015, and has grown tremendously throughout the years. As it stands now, LWS is my biggest pet project and largest pain in the butt, LOL. Also - ages here are in human years. True ages are hidden for all characters due to potentially being spoiler-esque.
