 The Logbook

Frankie, a bratty 13-year-old girl from a rich family, is going to spend her holidays at the Santa Marina cruise ship, where she will be working off the damages that she caused to the harbor and as a punishment for her misbehavior. She's going to stay with her older brother Chris, who works on the ship; he used to be a smuggler but has changed his life for the better. Frankie, being the troublemaker that she is, gets her hands on the ship's unused logbook and starts to carry it everywhere she goes, filling it up with her observations and describing events like in a diary. During the cruise, Frankie discovers a body of a man. Nobody could leave the ship, in the middle of the ocean, so who did it? The staff has to keep it a secret from everybody, in order not to cause panic among the guests, also the troubled cruise agency would have to be shut down, and Chris may not really be over his past life as everybody thinks and could become a suspect or go back to jail. Along with the kitchen chef, the captain and her two kids, the bartender, and the always angry manager, Frankie and Chris try to solve the murder mystery, yet that's not the only mystery that they need to solve.
