The fearsome manager, whom (almost) everybody runs away from and doesn't even know his first name, Mr. Tobayashi has everything under his control and watchful eye. Even if he won't even think about it, he is the only person that is able to keep that business running smoothly. You'll mostly see him doing paperwork in his office or giving other staff members orders. However, he also usually helps wherever he can, so don't be surprised to see him washing up dishes in the canteen or mopping the floor because Chris forgot to do so. Nobody knows anything about him, other than it's better to stay away from him unless you're a kid (for whom he's a surprisingly great caretaker despite being so cold) or that he will fix every mess and save you from every difficult situation. You can spot him late at night smoking at the top deck and nonchalantly join him and talk about life, just like Chris tends to do.
