¡Ven conmigo, tonta! ¡Vamos a una fiesta, Iona! Claro que puede traer tu Botógón. ¡Apurase!
yaaaaaaaay friendship!! (Mimi what are u saying)
Valor didn’t expect to become as close as he is to Righteous when they first started talking. Having seen what fear, desperation, and stress can make Pokemon do firsthand, he is more sympathetic to what Righteous has gone through. He doesn’t condone what Righteous did in his past, but he is able to see and acknowledge that Righteous has reformed and is making efforts to move away from the person he was. Valor finds his cheeky personality to be charming, and he likes when Righteous is passionate or excited about something. He enjoys their intimate moments together and genuinely loves the Gallade. Valor respects that Righteous is not looking for a relationship and does not question him about it, as much as he would like something deeper between the two of them. Most of all, he just wants to see Righteous be happy.
While close with both parents, Anastasia is extremely close with her father. Having spent the most time with him growing up, she has many of the same interests and mannerisms as Leal. Her love for jewelry comes from helping her dad with his work, and many of her favorite jewelry pieces are made by him. Anastasia knows that she can joke around with her dad, while also trusting him to take her seriously when needed. She thanks him for nurturing her mischievous side, and teaching her how to have fun and take a little risk sometimes. To hear how immensely her supposed death impacted her father's mental and physical health fills Anastasia with immense guilt.
Flint has aided Righteous throughout almost the entirety of the Gallade's guild career. He could see that young adult Righteous was headstrong and rebellious due to the strict influence and overbearingness of his parents, and that he would need a little guidance to keep his rapidly growing fame from getting to his ego. Over the years, Flint has come to see Righteous as a son of his own and is immensely proud of his success, and was even considering passing on the title of Guildmaster to him. Seeing the stress the Gallade was under worried him, and he consistently reached out to Righteous in regards to his health. Hearing the news of his actions towards Team Pierce crushed him, but he still cares for Righteous and worries about his well-being all the same.
Fume's pride would never allow them to admit it to her directly, but they feel immense guilt for the damage they caused to Surge's face. They are aware they let themself get out of control during their very first run-in after the Luxray broke off their horn, and that using their toxic fire in retaliation was unnecessary for the petty thievery Surge committed. Any time Fume wishes to have a reminder that they need to keep themself in check, they think back to the mishap with Surge. They no longer wish to quarrel needlessly with the other pokémon, but tensions always resurface when the two of them are consistently at each other's throats when around each other.
Surge doesn't trust Fume at all. She believes that the Houndoom is corrupt, and shouldn't be in the position they are. If it wasn't for the cool-headed nature of Foray, she thinks Fume would be making Crescent significantly worse. After getting into a fight with Fume after being caught stealing goods, they used their fire to burn one half of her face off. Not only has she lost her vision in her left eye, she also has to suffer the eternal pain that Houndoom fire leaves. To say it bluntly; she hates Fume.
Myrica always looked up to her team leader. She trusted his judgement in any situation, and followed his word without question. She often felt shocked that he and Gale had even let her onto Team Surgent, considering her humble origins and lack of fame and experience in comparison. She was grateful to be on board, but could sense whenever Righteous touched her horns that something off was growing in the Gallade, especially when tensions started to arise among the team. Righteous' actions towards Team Pierce would shock her, and in hindsight she wishes that she had done more about the turbulent emotions she had sensed in him. She still considers him a close friend despite the events, and makes sure to keep up with him to see if he's doing well.
As a child and in his early guild years, Blair looked up to Righteous. He frequently kept up with news and rankings from the guilds and was very involved in the success story of Team Surgent. He saw Righteous as someone to strive to be like, and he admired his strength and leadership qualities. Working with Righteous while investigating the natural disasters was like a dream come true, and his betrayal hit Blair immensely hard. In a moment, all of Blair’s respect for the Gallade was replaced by fear and loathing. His negative feelings still persist for Righteous, but he is glad that he received his punishment and help. Blair is satisfied with Righteous being removed from the Diamond Guild and would prefer to have nothing to do with him ever again.
Siege used to look up to Righteous ever since he was a child, when the other Gallade was first starting his guild career. After his mother hired Righteous as an escort during a visit to Fortune, Siege would follow updates on the rising Gallade's spreading fame, even being influenced to evolve into a Gallade himself. Initially he was thrilled by Team Surgent's involvement in their investigation, but was quickly heartbroken by their betrayal. Siege no longer holds any admiration for the other blade pokemon, going as far to enact justice for the physical harm Righteous caused to him and Team Pierce. Expecting minor reprimands, he was shocked by the harsh sentence the other Gallade would receive.
Help girl I'm in jail
While she doesn't show it openly, Gale does care about her team leader. She challenges him often, believing that she should be the one leading the team, but values his companionship and strengths. They share the same competitive spirit and ideals about fame, and she feels that she can share her unconventional plans for staying at the top of the rankings with him. She is grateful to him for taking her in when her old teammates abandoned her, but won't admit it frequently.
Righteous, for a long time, considered Gale to be his closest friend. They both started up Team Surgent together, and he had taken her in after her past team kicked her off with no warnings. The Gallade admired her perseverance and strength, but didn't notice the red flags of her behavior until she evolved. The more aggressive she got, the more uncomfortable and tense their relationship became, causing Righteous to close himself off from her. The one thing he is still glad for is her eagerness to stay on top in the rankings.
Chichituna feels incredibly connected to Puddle, enjoying his frequent company. Him and Puddle were both once "wild" Pokemon, and have experiences that not many others have. Chichituna thinks Puddle is sweet, and has a pure heart. The Maractus can't help but be proud of him, as Puddle has come a long way since the start of Team Melt. Chichituna doesn't have any romantic feelings for Puddle, but is painfully aware that the Wishiwashi has the hots for him.
Chichituna has never met another Maractus outside of Vasierta, and was thrilled to find Dapple. They immediately connected to each other, sharing what they know about their culture and language. Chichituna, shocked that they had never been to Vasierta, made it his goal to save up for a trip with the other Maractus. He frequently sends Dapple letters and post cards from Meadow, and even goes to visit them on occasion. Chichituna has wrote a Common-to-Vasiern dictionary for them, often sending them new pages in the mail to staple into it. He has feelings for the other Maractus, but is worried about ruining their friendship if he confesses.
Dapple looks up to Chichituna, both as a good friend and knowledgeable pokémon. They enjoy learning about their heritage with the other Maractus, and have grown quite fond of the time they spend together. Though distance keeps them from meeting often, Dapple always looks forward to seeing him again and hearing of Chichituna's latest guild adventures. They have even grown feelings for the other cactus pokemon, but are too afraid to confess. Dapple feels that since they do not battle and have no interest in doing guild work, they might not be an ideal match romantically for Chichituna.
Blair considers his teammate Chichituna as one of his closest friends, and one of the Pokémon he can trust the most. Having started their guild adventure together since the beginning, he feels a special bond with the Maractus and is proud of what they've accomplished as a team. His carefree attitude helps Blair not feel so caught up in trivial things, and he appreciates his positive and determined outlook. At one point Blair had romantic feelings for Chichituna and was afraid his confession would interfere with their friendship, but even after being rejected he felt relieved to get the feelings off his chest. He has since moved on from those emotions, and hopes to make many more memories with Chichituna as part of Team Pierce.
At first, Chichituna was a bit cautious around Blair. He could easily hide his nerves under his natural enthusiasm and charm, but it took him a while to shake his anxiety about the (then) Pawniard. However, Blair was helpful and kind, even allowing the Maractus to live with him and his dad. Blair helped Chichituna learn the common tongue, which he greatly appreciates. He considers Blair to be his closest friend, and would do anything to support him. When his team leader confessed his feelings for him, Chichituna wasn't surprised at all, as Blair was horrible at disguising his feelings.
Chichituna has never felt ill about Siege, and most likely never will. He saw Siege as odd, but entertaining and honest. While the others on Team Pierce took a while to warm up to the Gallade, Chichituna was always ready to defend him. He felt that him and Siege had a similar situation, and that it wasn't fair his team were treating him so harshly. While they are not particularly close, the Maractus feels that him and the Gallade have a decent bond. Sometimes, out of petty cactus annoyance, Chichituna would prepare Siege's food before the others.
