HTTP: is a cyber universe, plagued by creatures and monsters known as Viruses. These Viruses are controlled by the one known as The Game Master, Noir, who's purpose and goal is to see the universe burn. In this world there is also a human society, and a community of fighters who's job is to protect their lands by either Deleting or to Saving the monster Viruses.

The processes of Deleting and Saving both consist of the same basic battle elements; A fighter, a powerful Wield (weapon), and a Virus. The fighter uses their Wield - a personalized weapon endowed with Circuit Power (magical force) - in order to defeat the Virus. To Save a Virus, the fighter must locate it's weak point and concentrate their Circuit Power directly at it. After a series of attacks, the Virus will become weaker and eventually absorb the Circuit Power - ultimately converting the Virus into a peaceful entity. To Delete a Virus, the fighter must simply attack the Virus head on, making sure to deal as much heavy damage as possible. This will slowly deteriorate the Virus, and with enough force the Virus will shatter into pixels.

If a Virus is Saved, it takes on a humanoid android form and becomes a peaceful entity that can live alongside humans. If they are Deleted, however, they explode into color coded pixels - ceasing to exist altogether.

Saving a Virus is not easy. In fact, it takes a lot of strength, intelligence and willpower to execute such a procedure. Deleting the Virus is a lot easier. The simplicity of it has made fighters lazy, and a lot of ethical and moral dilemmas have surfaced regarding the "Virus-fighting business". Many of the fighters lose their motivation and willpower, and end up resorting to Deleting rather than Saving. This means that so many more Viruses are killed when they really could have been Saved with just a bit more commitment and effort. As if the situation wasn't dire enough, when these fighters lose their willpower, their minds are also more receptive to negative energy. This is a key factor that does not go unnoticed by The Game Master, as it is the perfect opportunity for manipulation. The Game Master is slowly but surely able to infect the minds of these lost fighters, eventually taking control of their entire life essence. After staying infected for too long the fighter will eventually lose their humanity and, with the help of The Game Master's Circuit Power, they will turn in to Viruses themselves. The process of this manipulation is based around The Game Master's Circuit Power. She charges smaller Viruses with her power, dispatched them to lost fighters and then lets the Viruses charge that stored power into the victim. These small Viruses could take the form of any small creature, letting them go by unnoticed. All it takes is a Virus bite, and you're done for.

There are different levels of Viruses, as well as fighters. There exists very powerful, skilled and good-willed fighters - but there also exists very powerful, lethal and malicious Viruses. The different altitudes of power is measured in Ranks for fighters, and Stages for Viruses. The range for Ranks reaches from 0-13. The range for Stages varies greatly, and can reach up to 100.

Related to this, is the process of gaining power. A lost fighter that is infected with The Game Master's Circuit Power will become varyingly powerful, depending on how many Viruses they have Deleted and Saved. If the lost fighter has Deleted many, and Saved very few, their Virus form will become more powerful. If they have Deleted and Saved almost equal amounts of Viruses, they will become weaker. In short; the more horrible of a person you are, the more powerful you will become as a Virus. This kind of rule also applies to the good-willed fighters. If you have Saved many, and Deleted very few, you will gain more Circuit Power as you Rank up. It should be known that not all Viruses can be Saved! Some of them are just so lost in the darkness that the only way out is to end their being. (IN OTHER WORDS: No high-ranking fighter is without their fair share of Deletes. Unless an OP fighter will appear later in the story.... Who knows..........WINK WINK)

In the story, the fighters themselves are unaware of The Game Master's involvement in manipulatin the minds of lost fighters and turning them into Viruses, so they have yet to learn how new Viruses keep appearing. (Something to be enravelled later on...) They only know they have to keep fighting them, in order to protect their land - and to Save the people they love.
