And I’ve realized I was an idiot… I used to have such a horrible approach to this, I was looking at old speedpaints and Jesus Christ all mighty… I was just going in there no prep or anything no wonder it was always wonky

almost 12 hours on the canvas and 4 days in so far and man it’s actually doing something. I recently watched a few tutorials on eyes and man it feels like my third eye has opened.
I never really understood how to get eye proportions right but I was following this tutorial from chommang_draws and man the way he did it seemed like black magic until it clicked and it all made sense.
Who knew practice/studying/learning does in fact help who woulda thought /silly
I am currently NOT happy with how my art looks both style and aesthetic wise. So I’m going to do a LOT of art studies and practice before I feel comfortable tackling any of my owed. I want to be able to give people my best work and currently I feel like I am not doing my best work. It’s mediocre at best.
So I will be taking a little longer than I’d like to be able to finish my owed
if there are any issues or you’d like to back out or put characters back on UFO I completely understand and will not mind. I have just not been feeling it recently. And I want to make art that I enjoy and looks good. I want/need to improve
edit: I also want to improve how fast I pump out art but this is just a rant thing don’t mind this edit
