I sold Miriam years and years ago (if you don’t remember/never knew who she was she was my hazbin hotel oc who lasted like a week before I decided I hated the show), but today she is getting rebooted just purely for entertainment purposes

anyways onto the headcanons/rambling

- Tear and Liar are both cursed (like literally everyone in my Otoca D’or interpretation lmaooo)

- Liar is cursed to only speak in lies, and Tear is cursed to always cry. While Liar’s words can sound hurtful, Tear knows what Liar really means to say (and Truth helps translate her lies a bit), and finds her very sweet

- Liar can’t swim but it doesn’t stop her at all lmao, she will take a small rowboat out into the middle of the ocean just to surprise visit Tear (because god forbid she think ahead lmao)

- Has Tear wished for legs? Sort of. More so she wishes Liar would just learn how to swim because Tear has the ability to grant her water breathing, Liar just literally can’t swim

- Liar’s jokes are absolutely atrocious but they do get a laugh out of Tear

- The amount of songs Liar has wrote for and about Tear is almost concerning. It’s more funny that they all sound like drunken sea shanties too

- it’s very cursed that Liar is the only one with a confirmed age, that being 21 so Tear is most likely 20-22

- liar is just a massive simp for her fish gf which is so valid lmao

Birthday day today, I have aged, and I’m am itching to use some of my birthday funds on comms but idk who

I’m gonna rip a handful of hair out of my head for everyday I can’t find my tablet pen because I can’t draw on paper, isn’t working out, so was hoping to draw on my laptop but it’s kind of hard to do that with no pen. Curses.

But they exist and they make me happy

So Otoka is the temporary, though might become permanent, name for Diva’s little group of delinquent girls, and like the name suggests they’re pretty heavily music themed

Leader is Diva/Ogawa Toruko, my favorite little pool noodle carrying hiphop dancer, started the gang with her best friend Vanilla as a place for girls to say “f society and f the roles set out for us as women, we gonna just do our own thing”

Second-in-command is Vanilla/Kanzaki Mitsuri, and I think I love her just a teeny bit for than I do Diva (though she is the hardest one to draw). Has a bad history with shoplifting and has a clothing style that is off-putting to many men who value “pure” traditional girls, though that’s kind of the point in her mind. Will break teeth when needed, she’s also the enforcer in the group.

Advisor is Chili Pepper/Suzuki Kurumi, she’s the main tech girl in the group and intel gatherer as well. She’s chill and lowkey, and while she sounds very apathetic she cares about those around her a lot.

And then there’s about a couple dozen other girls in the group that all have one reason or another for joining.

Their biggest opp are the Akahane, led by an old school rival of Diva’s, Watanabe Hibiki. Hibiki’s gang features many more traditional sukeban gang elements, such as uniforms and stricter operating rules. Unlike Otoka who is comprised of girls escaping their households and the pressures of academics, Akahane is pure delinquency and they are not afraid to jump rival gangs in broad daylight.

While Otoka has done well keeping themselves out of trouble, the rise of more and more gangs causes problems for them, and the stretched out security makes them easier targets for the Akahane.

As for the timeline of their story, I’ve only read volumes 1 and 2 and so I am waiting for volumes 3-4 to come in the mail before I make more decisions, I think it’s way too early to introduce them yet but they will be temporary allies, Takemichi will also have one shot to prevent the fate of the Akahane and Otoka, and especially save Toruko in particular.

Can say what happened to them in the first timeline at the beginning of the story though, Toruko was hung by the Akahane, the rest of the girls went their separate ways into their lives, and Toruko’s death went on ruled as a suicide. Vanilla talks to Takemichi in the future however and lets him know that Toruko’s death wasn’t a suicide, but a result of escalated gang violence, prompting him to get involved in their conflicts as well
