Fiery Wrath

Fiery Wrath is a slice-of-life story that takes place in the late 2200s. It's a futuristic setting where a massive nuclear war that happened about a century ago has given eighty percent of humanity supernatural tendencies through abnormal mutations in their genetic makeup.

The story is told from the perspective of a teenage girl named Ersa who has pyrokinesis, the ability to create and utilize fire. She began developing anger issues after her parents died in a house fire that she caused. The cause of the fire was out of her control and resulted from an incident involving a crazed scientist that kidnapped and injected Ersa with a powerful serum in some sort of twisted science experiment. He also wanted to get back at her parents since they were rivals in the science community.

To this day, Ersa's unstable abilities are reflected through the flames that she'll wield. Even if her siblings insist that it's not her fault that their parents passed away, Ersa has always believed that it is and suffers from long-term remorse because of that.

Eventually, she'll fall in love with her roommate Persephone at the boarding academy that she's enrolled in, whom she had harbored a spiteful grudge against at first due to her rather snobby and sly personality.

However, Persephone isn't all that she seems to be and both her and Erza can come together and connect with each other through a pain they never thought they'd share in common: the loss of a family member.
