what I am looking for weapons that would fit into the half life universe, or some sort of DND type gun

• a pulse pistol or shotgun
• a heated rebar bolt pistol
• some sort of homemade weapon like a pipe gun or something 
• or simply just a wild west themed automatic pistol

though what I want can change and if you are unsure I will always respond with what I would like

I want to know is how do you make a character who is a unique variant what I am on about is how to make a character who has unique and unusual traits in real life this would be like humans having extra arms, eyes, being heterochrome or albino

I have an obsession with collecting characters that are either rare or scarcity however most of these characters are near impossible to get or are very expensive and currently the chances of seeing an impim, cccat, scarfox ect in my stories is next to impossible

at first I thought characters such as Alicorns and Draconequii are rare though I have pretty much seen hundreds of them, I don't know would people say these are rare or common ocs 

than I thought trying to make a unique variant of something like a human, elf, dragon, cat furry ect but the problem is I think to big and I end up adding every rare and unusual trait I can think of and I end up with a unusable mess  so what i want to know is how to think smaller and how to create a my own unique character or subspecies if that is of a generic species such as humans, elfs, cat furries ect or that of a fandom species such as endermen, alicorns and other fandom species without creating something that is just the same mismatched red and black thing I somehow keep creating

wanting to create a town that is populated by skulldog characters but only currently have 1 skulldog OC at the moment

need some help with making and getting original species characters

1. over the last 2 to 3 years I have had many attempts at trying to create my own original species, this includes the Katians which on my occasion I have tried to get an interest in however each time I have always failed, there is never any interest and it fails before anything has begun, I kind of learnt that to make an original species work it needs to have a good concept and a community and coming up with a good concept seems hard everything I have tried to make has always turned into some superglued looking hybrid, what is the method of coming up with a good species gimmick which isn't just supergluing about a dozen animals together or adding food or crystals to something

2. the next question I want to ask is what is the implications when it comes to creating unofficial and off brands, I heard in the past if people created unofficial characters of a closed species they can be black listed and even threatened however I have seen many off brands and unofficial characters on toyhouse and as far as I can tell no one seems to be bothered by it, the other implication I know of is a lot of artists to keep their reputation would refuse to draw off brands.

the reason why I ask is there are some closed species characters that I would like one off but a lot of them seem to be near impossible to get, hardly any ever go up for trade or sale and when they do they are either only looking for swaps or asking for quite a lot of money, there is this particular closed species I am looking for a character of however most of the people who used to be able to create customs no longer can and when I went to the creator themselves and asked I was told the only way to get one was through an auction. advice I already got from my friends was either to pay the $200 + for one or just give up and forget about getting one.

the other problem is whenever I have ever tried to create an off brand it has always felt hollow, empty and worthless to the point where I either delete the artwork or I end up changing it to something generic which I soon get board of anyway and it immediately goes up for trade, if you got any more ideas just let me know

3. last question how to make a interesting design without having to relay on closed species or some hybrid abomination of about 12 different animals, one of the things I noticed is despite wanting a closed species character, most of the characters of mine I feel the most attached to are non species, characters in question are just regular anthro cats or nekos, how would I go about creating another new character which isn't an original species open or closed which feels as special as a closed species character

for the past couple of years I have been obsessed with collecting MLP OCs however the truth is I was never really that keen on the show and apart from one of the movies never really watched any of G4 and as such I have been trying to get rid of the MLP OC collecting habit however it has been hard and I realised the only way to do so is to cut down on the MLP OCS that I have
