So I’ve been chewing it over for a few days, now. Since my monetary issues popped up (along with everything else), I was wondering if something like this would be of interest to my followers. I do have my commissions page for bigger scale projects, but would people be interested in sketches and doodles for Ko-Fi donations?

Where do I even begin, now. So, as some of you were aware, I went to California for the holidays primarily to retrieve the last of my belongings- including my bed- and to finish moving into my new apartment. We had a truck that we were going to use, and it was going to be a grand time.
Fast forward to the night before we were supposed to leave- guy we were going to borrow the truck from decides, after giving us permission three times over the past two weeks, that he no longer wanted that kind of mileage on his car. Although upset, I can’t really blame the guy. It’s his truck, after all. After moping about, I managed to come up with another plan, thanks to the help of my mom. We’d get a uhaul, and hitch it to my bestie’s car. I’d have to stay in town for another two weeks, which sucked, but I could deal.
Today, I spent an hour or so finalizing packing and getting things staged so we could pack the trailer and go, despite my being pretty sick. Decide to go out and hang with said bestie, and they break the news. Their father said that, if we hitch anything to their car, and even the slightest thing would go wrong, he’s cutting them off. Not only from the car, but from school, gas money, everything. (This is the same guy who said no to us borrowing the truck in the end, mind you).
I can’t very well do that to them so…
Now I’m flying home with nothing. After being here for a month, biding my time until I can move.
What’s worse? Remember that post I made about my monitor dying? My sister has actually come through with an old 28″ TV they weren’t using anymore, that would fit on my desk and act as a suitable replacement for now, so I could at least continue taking commissions and well… work.
Guess what I can no longer take with me, because I’m already flying with two bags? Yup.
So now I’m going back home with no monitor, no bed, nothing. I can’t even offer art for donations because I have no monitor to draw with.
I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. Happy 2018, I guess.

I hope you're all doing well! I know I haven't been super active here lately- there's been a lot of at-home stressors that have been stopping me from doing anything that I enjoy. But that's all hopefully going to change soon, as my roommate and I got approved for a brand new apartment! I'm talking brand new appliances, flooring, light fixtures- everything! I'm super excited, but that also means that things are going to be super hectic in October. Don't know when I'll have internet again, so I'll have to postpone opening commissions again (I'd originally planned to do so on the first of October... weh.)

RE: MMO Characters with Finished Stories

This is something I've been on the fence about for awhile now- I have more characters than I have up here on Toyhouse, and I'm uncertain as to posting them or not. I've played a lot of different MMOs over the years (WoW, Tera, Perfect World, FFXIV, etc. etc.) and I have a lot of characters with extensive histories and lore. The major issue is either I don't have as many screenshots of them, or no art at all- and wonder if people dislike characters that don't have visuals.
I know in the end it's up to me, but I was curious about the general populace's thoughts!
So finally biting the bullet and changing my settings from the Legacy layout to the new one. I'm really upset that all these new features aren't available to something I paid for, but... whatever. x.x
So please be patient with me as some character profiles are going to be a hot mess for awhile while I re-code them. Thank you ' v'/
The only qualm I have with Toyhou.se's new coding is the fact that when I copy and paste my profiles from Gdocs it no longer keeps my formatting, and there's seemingly no way to get them to match my old ones. I was meaning to re-do everyone's profiles sooner or later but... looks like it's going to be sooner.
