Role Play Basics

Locations

I am comfortable doing:

Post Length

I usually write about:
- One or two sentences. 
- One or two paragraphs. ✓
- Two to five paragraphs. ❤
- More than five paragraphs. ✓ [Sometimes, with starters and the like... but I try to trim things back so as to not be too intimidating.]
- A few pages worth. 
 
I am comfortable role-playing with people who write:

Romantic Relationships
** Important: Communication is the key to a real life relationship,  it shouldn't be abandoned for a fictional one either! Be sure to talk  to your partners when considering romance!
 
Shipping

I am comfortable shipping my characters:
- Never. ✗ [What's the fun in never?]
- Our characters know each other deeply. ✓
- Our characters know each other deeply, and I know I can trust the role-player. ❤ [Nothing personal, I've simply had quite a few people leave and the muse was left in limbo.]
- At the first sign of flirting! ✗
- Only if the role-player and I plan it. ✓ [I do like to plan most things out, but surprises can be fun, too!]
- It depends on the character. ❤ [Some of my characters and under age, or simply not looking.]

If you want to ship with my characters:
- Talk to me about it from the start. ❤ [Communication is key- and avoids awkwardness from early on!]
- Talk to me about it once our characters know each other. ✓ [Not too late in the game, though!]
- Talk to me about it once they both have some feelings for each other. ✗
- Talk to me about it when they finally decide that want to go beyond hugging. ✗ [Way too late in the game, and it'll likely make things a bit awkward.]
 
Speed

When shipping my characters, I like the romance to happen:
- Swift as lightening! ✗ [No.]
- Fast, but not super fast. ✗
- Happens in about three months. ✓ [Seems an awfully specific time frame, but not an awful one.]
- Slow and steady wins the race. ✓ [Gimme dat sweet backstory!]
- Slugs know what's up! ✗
- My relationships know no speed. They happen if they happen. ❤ [I like things to happen as naturally as possible. Sometimes, even a planned ship simple doesn't work out.]
 
Smut

When my characters get intimate, I prefer:
- To skip the act entirely.  ✗ [Where's the fun in skipping things?]
- To write the build up, but skip the act. ✗ [See above.]
- To write the act only if it is very special, but otherwise skip it. ✓ [Some smut just... happens. Sex happens. Don't need to go into detail every time.]
- To write the act all the way through. ❤ [Note- I do not RP smut with anyone other than close friends.]
 
Romantic Artwork

When it comes to artwork depicting our relationship please:
- Do not post it at all without talking to me. ✓ [Just in case it includes sex or similar subjects, I like to review it just in case. I like to keep my TH fairly clean.]
- Post it if it's cuddles and hugs. ❤
- Post it if it's kissing. ❤
- Post it if it's much more. ✗

Dramatics
** Important: Always be sure to communicate with your partner  individually if you think you are about to go outside their comfort  zones even just the slightest bit!!
 
Violence

When it comes to violent situations, I am comfortable with:
- No violence at all! ✗
- I'm fine with verbal arguments! ✓
- Some violence, like a paper cut, or an accidental elbow to the face. ✓
- Mild violence, such as punching, kicking, hair pulling. ✓
- Violence, such as stabbings. ❤ [Only 18+]
- Beyond violence, such as torture and more. ❤ [Only 18+]
 
If you are going to do something violent, please:
- Don't do it at all. ✗
- Talk to me about it first. ❤ [Communication!]
- Surprise me! ✗ [I do not like surprises about this stuff. Please no.]
