Prologue The clouds looked like dark whisps over the setting moon, shimmering over the calm ocean cloaked in a dark blanket of sky. A small light was the only thing that didn't seem dead under the covers of water. The light began shining brighter the more the moon dipped under the waves until it finally disappeared under the horizon. At this time the light was as bright as the moon's reflection on the dark sea and rose higher and higher to the surface, not the faintest idea whether up was down or down was up. Until at last the water broke like glass as the radiant winged creature burst through the surface and climbed the sky until the clouds covered any trace of what had just transpired over the Luminescent Sea.
