Grimm's relationship with the Rangers was characterized by hatred, bloodshed, and a fierce need for survival. Grimm became a target for the Rangers, who would have succeeded in their mission if not for Skye's intervention after their first encounter. Surviving this encounter made Grimm a primary focus for the military trio. After discovering that the Rangers were mostly made of metal, Grimm used this knowledge to his advantage, causing their visits to almost come to a halt. However, due to Skye's involvement with both parties, their paths inevitably crossed again, leading to a tense coexistence.
