Our world today as of 2021 was destroyed as it merged with another realm invisible to the naked eye. Thus the material plane had a terrible introduction to magic and creatures we consider fantasy. The merge cause the destruction of the world, not just states and monuments but countries were torn down and continents changed shape. People lived in anarchy and be forced to rebuild civilization. Several years pass and it’s now 2090 and civilization is now rebuilt with some form of normalcy and structure.
