i’ve been working on improving my art and i actually don’t really have any updates so…. i’m so glad to be coming back! i have no idea why i didn’t do it sooner haha

and hopefully i can finish payments and references before artfight starts this time :,)

hello everyone! yes i’m aware i’ve been very inactive on toyhouse for a while, and that’s because i’m focusing on real life! i really wanna take a hiatus but i have payments to do but i’ve been working on a traditional painting since december so uh :,) and i’m still not done because i’ve been extremely busy, partly bc of myself, but partially bc of my school.

probably worst week of my life besides the month i was in the hospital:

i’m not even kidding, my house got struck by lightning but by some miracle all that happened was that my dad’s computers got fried, my electronic recliner chairs got fried, and we lost internet :/ but it’s back now! 

also i’ve been so burnt out bc i’ve had homework for this whole week until 8:00 pm at the worst time ever bcuz my ADD is killing me. i’m like 99% sure i have it, but i’m good at controlling it. but since it is genetic… i guess i’ll never know unless i get it diagnosed

but i hope y’all understand that i’ve been super busy and i need a bit of a break from toyhouse until i’m less stressed. i haven’t started some of my payments and i forgot who i have payments for (plz tell me if u remember)

also i’m just trying to improve my art! i’ve been watching samdoesarts bc i found his art on Pinterest and i was like OMG who’s art is this it’s incredible…!! and he has a yt channel and i’m learning so much…. and i couldn’t sleep for a little while last night (that’s another thing abt my week, i’ve been sleeping a lot less cuz my mind won’t turn off, but it’s getting better progressively) OH right i was talking abt what i did last night, ok so since i had no internet i was looking through my camera roll looking at all my recent art and thinking: “i can do better” especially with fundamentals and lines like my shading is so inconsistent and i could use better color theory + anatomy + so many things but i will stick to my style cuz i love it, just don’t b surprised if i don’t post much this year but the quality increases

and i’m having sm fun drawing humans i love making paintings i just never had enough time to sit down and do it. i still don’t i just made time for them

speaking of youtube channels…. 🤭 i’m doing this thing where i cover a song off of superache by conan gray every month bc it’s 12 songs and it works out perfectly <33 except idk how i’m gonna sing best friend (very very explicit) and i skipped movies in january bc i was sick :( i’m not gonna tell u the channel rn but! if u find it, leave a comment + it can be our little secret 🫶

family troubles i probably shouldn’t tell u bc it means i’m worried but yeah:

i’m also in a terrible situation financially, like we have money but my whole family is unemployed rn bc my dad quit his job and he can stick with bc that’s where i get my ADD.. and his therapist/doctor says he has the worst case of ADD he’s ever seen so that’s fun (i mean technically bc of social media everyone has a decaying attention span but ADD is still completely different) i’ve known i’ve had it for a long time ALSO. that’s why it takes me so so long on payments and i feel bad bc i always bite off more than i can chew

wanting to release music:

OH! and one of the main things i wanted to talk to y’all about was that i’ve been writing songs since 2020 and they’re getting really good and i wanna share them with you bc i want to become a singer kind of even more than an animator! and if it works out it’s the actual perfect job to me cuz my favorite things in the world have always been art, music, reading and writing! so i’m not sure how it’s gonna work but i REALLY wanna release my music someday even if nothing happens (not just bc i wanna meet conan gray but bc i LOVE writing songs and most of them may or may not be about him but it’s the thought that counts. my best song i wrote is literally called conan gray and it has the longest + best lyrics i’ve ever written/seen because of course it is) but i might post them as bulletins if y’all r interested, um and i want y’all to see my yt channel but then u would have to see me. bc i will be doing covers. which i’m totally ok with! and if somehow i get big and start doing tours it would b perfect bcuz i would get to meet some of you!!! :,) i’ve always wanted to do that :,))) so i’m trying to manifest that it will work out but it is just talent + luck that gets u into the industry :,) but i rlly do wanna make so many covers bcuz i love so many songs

i’m so SO sorry if this bulletin was more rambly and confusing and disjointed than usual, i just can’t rlly control my ADD right now it’s so SO frustrating u guys have no. idea. u really. don’t. unless u have it. it takes me forever to finish tests + read in class unless it’s dead silent cuz i can’t read/write unless i can hear the voice in my head, it’s always been like this but my hormones r out of whack and i really cannot articulate but i hope this makes somewhat sense. sm has happened since the span of my last bulletin to now it’s kinda crazy

hey everyone... i know this is going to sound stupid and a lot of y’all are going to be like “wth is scratch“ and to those of you, it was my main art website before toyhouse, and it’s a little kids site. yeah….. now you know haha.. but i have thought about it for a while and i kinda really miss scratch and want to come back. we’ll see how long it lasts but i want to at least get my MAP finished!

so, that being said! it would help a whole lot and mean so much to me if u guys could join or help me get people who still enter to join, i’m going to do a few parts myself and there are only 16 parts i believe! i already surprisingly have 3 parts, i did horribly trying to advertise it, so that’s my fault, but i’d really love to finish this! ambitious, i know.. i first posted the project 2 years ago…. um. yeah. oops. i haven’t been on scratch in forever and i really was feeling super nostalgic for it :,) but the song is one of my favorite songs, and it is my favorite billie song <3
