Mr. Snide Jokerforever

Hehehehe, another day, another moment of chaos and despair. Which area should I bring forth destruction to next?

I agree with Roller and love that greeting of yours. I enjoyed your bullet points especially the warning hehe. Our types just don't make friends easily and that's a good thing.

Ha thanks, I just couldn't resist that greeting despite how cliche it seems XD. Agreed, my time on DA has certainly taught me a thing or two about idiots wandering on to our shores. It's indeed it's fortunate that we don't easily maker our friends, best to pick them wisely, and the few gems that we find are precious.

I don't think it's cliche and if it is it never gets old. I'm glad you've learned this. I've always been very untrusting and majorly selective and it has served me well. Few have ever gotten the best of me because of it. So it's good we are like this. Yes quality over quantity and the friends we do have are gold.

Hah! I like the title you have there and it's great to know you enjoy reptiles along with crocodilians. It's also great that you have Mr.Snide and Spite on here as well.

Ha glad you like my title, I simply couldn't resist typing that XD. I'm still getting use to this site so I intend on editing in the future so it looks more presentable. First time I got in to herpetology was around third grade if I remember correctly, with crocs attracting me most for their fearsome and dinosaur-like appearance. Thanks, I'm happy to have Snide and Spite aboard as well.

Hehehe great that you mention me on your page, and sure I'm glad to be welcomed by my doom. That is quite true about INTPs liking dark humor of course... as I always say dark humor is the best humor. :)

Indeed there is no better humor than dark humor, even darkness needs a good laugh after all :). I'm still getting use to this site but that shouldn't take long, I'm really starting to like this.

Heheh absolutely, thankfully my stories will have plenty of dark humor. :) I'm glad you're starting to like this site as well, I remember when I first joined I liked the atmosphere of the place and didn't feel such excitement from joining a site since the time I first joined dA. I've been here for a month and am still getting used to it, but that's just me not exploring every feature properly yet. >_>

Hiii Joker, it's great to have you here. It's great you like reptiles and amphibians, they are gorgeouse vertebrates and deserve more love! Glad to see you already uploaded a character ^_^

Likewise! I couldn't agree more, such fascinating creatures they are, both big and small, and they live in such interesting environments as well. Ah yes, already I'm having fun with this site :D

One day i will get a snake (i managed to convince my mother after many months of "subliminal messages" <---joking tone XD), a royal python since they are one of the best choice for neophites like me. I recentely made a drawing with the faes of some Australian animals and in this draw there is also a honourable mention: Southern gastric brooding frog. I don't know if you know this species but it's amazing. When i'm done with colouring i will post it on DA.

Ah a royal python sounds like a nice choice for snake given their generally calm nature. When the time came for me to get a snake I was torn between a royal python and a corn snake. I ultimately went with a corn snake as I'm drawn to colubrids slightly more than pythons. I must admit the southern gastric brooding frog is a new one to me so I'll have to research that in my spare time. I look forward to that drawing, it sounds nice.

The genus of gastric brooding frog consisted of only two species, both of which became extinct in the mid-1980s. The genus was unique because it contained the only two known frog species that incubated the prejuvenile stages of their offspring in the stomach of the mother. The causes of the gastric-brooding frogs' extinction are not clearly understood, but habitat loss and degradation, pollution, and some diseases may have contributed but scientists at the University of Newcastle and University of New South Wales announced in March 2013 that the frog would be the subject of a cloning attempt, referred to as the ”Lazarus Project”, to resurrect the species. Embryos were successfully cloned. The Rheobatrachus silus was discovered in 1973 while Rheobatrachus vitellinus was discovered in 1984.

I've found an extremely useful Youtube channel about snake care, handling and behaviour, it even talks about colubrids (i understood why they keep moving when handled) if you are interested i tell you the name :)

Very interesting read. That's a shame that the two species became extinct in the mid-1980's, it seems like an interesting species to say the least, in some respects it reminds me of the darwin frog in the way the young hop out of the parent's mouth. That said, I'm somehow not surprised that scientists are ambitious enough to attempt to clone them, with embryos already done so.

Ah that's neat that you found a snake care channel, I'll gladly take up that offer since I'm curious about it now.
