To me fiction does infact harm people in real life and if you do not realize this then you are far to detached to realize what you are normalizing, fiction changes reality, it's easy to find several case studies about such subjects.

Saying "as long as it doesn't hurt anybody" leaves a lot to interpretation due to that I'll instantly take it as "as long as you don't take it into real life" which I heavily disagree with (I agree you should never take it in real life but fiction DOES very well hurt people in real life without it even leaving the Internet and that saying to me is a way to normalize literally anything because it's "fiction")
