Hi all! Long time no see.

So, Add-Ons (like chibis and extra outfits) will be unavailable for a  bit until I catch up with my current commission queue. I've been under a  lot of stress lately, which has made it difficult to work, so instead  of digging a deeper hole for myself, I'm just going to put a pause on  them until I'm ready.

If you a buy a design from me (or have bought) and want an add-on for  that specific design you've bought, you will still be able to get them  after I open them again ♥ I could start a waitlist, maybe? If anyone is  interested in that then let me know.

Just wanted to make an update on that since I won't be offering it for a  bit and I didn't want to surprise anyone too badly haha.

Hey all! I'm in a bit of a bind, so I'm discounting my chibi commissions to help get me through the rest of April.

I'm taking chibi commissions for $15! (usually they are 20-25 depending on complexity etc)

Basically, my gerbil is sick and I have to take him to the vet tomorrow, one of my student loans went into default, my dog just went to the vet, I've been really sick from seasonal allergies and missing work and I honestly don't know if we're going to make rent for May at this rate because of everything. That's the basic gist of it.

I like drawing chibis, which is why they are discounted this time around, but if you'd like something else, it will be the usual price!

Hi all! Just wanted to make a post for an fyi. I started a new job recently to help pay my bills and the only downside is I have less time to work on adopts and commissions. I'm off for three days during the week and during that time I either have to take care of the household, work on job #2 (data entry) or make appointments, so I haven't had the same amount of time to sit down and draw that I had before. Which really sucks on my part because I love drawing and designing cute things for others, and I feel guilty when I take too long. I'm still designing adopts behind the scenes and between comms to bring in the extra coin, but trying to hustle every day was really burning me out so it's good to have something that can help support the dream!

Anyway, I just wanted to put this up so I can let others know that my work time may be slow, and it's okay to poke me and ask me if I've made any progress or to ask me to have it done by a certain time (as long as you're not a booty patootie about it). I don't want to stop offering add-ons, because I really love the idea of being able to provide the character's first commission, or extra design or whatever! I love to draw the characters I've made for their new owners. So I'll keep them available until I reach a point where it's impossible to do them. The only time I can foresee that is maybe around the holidays? But I don't know for sure. I may finally have a routine built by then haha~ Or if I'm sick but *knock on wood* that hasn't happened yet.

Hi guys! I need to make some extra money to catch up to life after our move, so I thought it would be fun to offer discounted chibis for folks who own my designs! I always want to go the extra mile and draw the things I design because I fall in love with them as I work on them, but to keep them cheap I hold back and offer them as add-ons instead lmao

Anyway, I'm raising my commission prices soon, so I thought I would offer a special discount for people who would like chibi art of characters they have bought from me, so they can get some affordable art and I can draw the cuties I've sold!

The discount is $15 per chibi (normally it will be $25) I will have this running for a little while, depending on how well the offer does.

Yes you can add this to the value of the character and yes, if you have a friend that owns one of my designs that doesn't have TH or DA or whatever, I'm still okay drawing them (or if you want to gift it to someone).

Sorry, but I am not allowing holds for a while. I'll make some  exceptions for 24 hour holds, but I can't do anything more than that  atm. The reason for this is because I have just moved and haven't been  able to work for a while, so my situation is a little dire. I have a  small commission queue to catch up on as well. Adopts are a fun way for  me to support myself as a self employed creator, and lately offering  holds have done a little more harm than good. People keep asking for  holds and then I have to hound them repeatedly for payment, and I don't  like doing that. But I have to make a living. I'm sorry if this is a  huge inconvenience, I would like to open holds again, but I really can't  afford to -maybe- make a living off of my work and base whether or not  I'll be eat off of whether or not someone will decide to pay for the  design when they say they will. It's just too stressful for me. I know  sometimes people don't have the money immediately and really want the  characters. I've been in that position lol, but at this moment it's just  very risky for me to do when I have so many medical bills and my  student loan providers are calling me 6 times a day wanting money.   Sorry if that's too personal, I just wanted to share the reality of how  it effects me, because I'm too worried people will be mad at me x(

Another thing is I want to try doing more original art adopts and bases.  Adopts made with my own art may be a bit more expensive than my base  adopts. I try to keep things cheap but I put so much work into my  designs. I also want to make bases, which I think could be really fun,  and to help others make their own designs. I may take a little break  from adopt making to offer more YCHs and stuff, because I miss making  art haha. I'll probably post most of this on my main FA account spacewusky so if you'd like to keep up with that, consider following me there too ♥  I'll post ads and reminders here to let people know too.

Last thing, I changed my toyhouse to KiraKiradopts for my base adopts  and made a new account for my original characters and art: Spacewusky so  if you get credit requests, they should come from KiraKiradopts on  toyhouse.
