Idril Mountains

The mountains to the far north are nearly uninhabitable. The snow elves seem to be the only ones capable of habitation atop the snowcapped mountain peaks, and even they need fur lines clothing to survive the harsh cold. Ruled by a monarch, the elves here are just as harsh as the environment around them. They will take strays in, but only to question why they are even on the mountain to begin with. It is rare that they house outsiders because they don't want outside problems ruining their harmony.
