"That's it? This is the end?"
This story starts out as a coming of age. A group of teenagers, who have yet to meet one another, are all looking for a job around the same time as each other. Coincidentally, they all applied to a pizzeria-arcade joint, and would then form relationships since they meet.
As time goes on, the employees' workloads start to become more dangerous, as if something about their employment has angered the animatronics themselves. The robots begin to become more irritable, and become more prone to malfunctioning and acting out when nearby the workers. Unfortunately, this results in the workers each dying in their own different way by the animatronics, making their souls possess the robots. Ever since, the souls of the workers have been forced to live the lives of the robots, and they don't even know why.
The characters end up using their time after their shifts (which is now whatever the animatronics' functions are during the day) to piece together reasons as to why this happened to them.
As the story continues, the workers, now in the animatronics' bodies, begin to find themselves getting more irritable and twitchy, much like the robots were before they were killed. They start to think they're under a curse, or in a time loop of sorts. This makes some of the characters begin to threaten the others, but also motivates the others to find out how to fix this cycle.
So far, the main characters are still stable, and they find that there is no end to their suffering, as they don't have the heart to murder another person just to escape their endless routine. Is this really the end?
