Hiii, my medical bills are very high this month. I don't have health insurance, my medications are expensive, and I've been needing several labs & medical procedures. I currently don't have any government disability or low-income benefits cuz I've been too ill to work through the massive hurdle that is government paperwork. I don't have family to help me with any of that stuff either, my parents are abusive and are not a option for help. Idk if it's the majority, but i certainly see that a lot of people with disabilities always have some family, spouse, or partner that helps them with their day-to-day lives. I'm a disabled person living alone juggling everything, but I am way happier alone struggling with money than I ever was under my parent's roof. It's hard, but it's better than the situation I was in before! I'm happier and actually safer, despite the financial and medical uncertainties.
