I forget toyhouse is kind of a place to be social in, and don't think I've been updating this place much. So, if you've seen a lack of activity from me, yeah! I've been kinda busy.
My life's changed drastically since last year, and for the better. I can earnestly say I'm heading to a direction where I might even be thriving and hopeful for my future!
I have struggled a lot in deciding what career to choose ever since I was a person, but a lot of things just keep nudging me back to the creative side of jobs, even if I have tried other "normal" job areas. Engineering wasn't for me, neither environmental management. So, now with my newfound freedom and leaving a toxic relationship that held me back severely in deep, debilitating brain fog and burnout, I've decided to fully and earnestly give a try in game development, and gasp, I am in an in-person game dev course and doing super well!
And what changes with it? Well, my availability online as I don't have the time to engage as much as I would, and also my work. As I focus more and more in becoming multi-purpose game dev with art, coding and design and even music, the more I'll post experimental things, such as more 3d artwork, little games or game assets with my OCS for practice, etc.
I want to make games that make people see the underappreciated things I love in the same light I do, and encourage finding and bringing joy in the small things even when things and times are hard.
I'll still be posting adoptables, as I still don't have anything else to earn an income, but once I feel more confident I'll even try opening up a Patreon!
And uh yeah that's about it. I'm pretty happy. If you made this far omg freaking powerful? And although spotty and slow to reply sometimes, I'm around if anyone ever wants to chat, whether it is about OCS, game development or random fun things.
