I took down most of my characters here because over time I've grown more and more disappointed and displeased with how unoriginal most of them are. I don't know if I'll ever put them back up but if I do it won't be until I am satisfied with each one and believe they can stand on their own. OCs and Sonas have always been a struggle for me, and I don't think that'll go away anytime soon. If anyone here has any advice or tips for making solid characters feel free to DM me or leave a comment here.

hi, i dont know if this is a good advice, but i would suggest making something that is completely different from what you usually do, for example, you would make furry characters right?, you could make something different like, some sort of an abomination of species with unique strats, or like a doctor with an personality of a child and with an monstrous appearence, or a funny antropomorphic object with like some cool abilities (maybe like a security camera with ability to see through everything and summon cool minions), i hope this helps.
you can also look at others characters (for example my characters from my toyhouse if you want) to think of something through them, no need to make exactly like them, it can just generate a creativity from you, that's how i usually think of characters
