- I mainly use a private Discord server to RP. I can be swayed to use Google Docs, but everything else is a no-go for me.
- Feel free to message me or comment if you're interested in RP! I'm always open to ideas.
- I don't have a lot of free time and juggling several people in one RP can be very difficult for me. I'm also quite shy.
- Post lenght will vary depending on what my character is doing and what they are reacting to. Usually I write at least 2 paragraphs.
- As long as I'm not given back a one-liner I'm content. Most important thing for me is that I have something to respond back to.
- I'm mostly interested in character personality, so type isn't that important.
- Usually I prefer RPing MxM relathionships.
- For convenience's sake, I have a bit of a preference for human characters.
- Tieflings, demons and that sort of characters are welcome!
- I have a soft spot for Medieval Fantasy mixed with Action/Adventure, Romance and just a smidge of Slice of Life.
- I'm not a fan of canonical RPs mainly because it always feels off for me. I do much better in original setting.
- I like shipping, especially if the character dynamic is right. I enjoy romance in RPs A LOT.
- I also just enjoy crack pairings and AU relationships too, if I have a long term partner and we understand each other well.
- Depends on the character, but also, I am WEAK for slow burn and pining. I want to SUFFER and turn into a blob of feels on the floor.
- I do enjoy writing smut, but this one greatly depends on my partner. If they are not comfortable with smut, I can work to accommodate them.
- That said, if smut is very constant in the RP I tend to gloss over it or just point out something important. I tend to use smut as another way to reveal certain aspects of the character, and if there is nothing relevant I just reduce it a bit.
- Go wild. I'm fine with anything.
- I don't mind violence at all. I do like having a bit of a heads up so I can plan things accordingly.
- There is also the fact that I like planning things with my partner a lot, so we're all on the same page and agree with things.
- Absolutely okay with these, as long as they are portrayed properly.
- If you want to draw this, you do you! I don't mind. I'm a bit squeamish about visual gore so I prefer not to really look at it.
RP Info
Hello! This is a brief overview of what my preferences are regarding RPing. I mainly use Discord via Lynaiss#2683 to RP, but I can be swayed to use Google Docs. If you want to read a bit more in depth about my preferences, head over to my RP Comfort Meme.
And here is a little bit about me: I've been RPing for about 10 years. English is not my first language so some awkward phrasing might pop up here and there. I'm very laid back about RPing so I rarely have any very firm requirements. I know people have busy lives and writing this is meant to be fun, not a chore.
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for an OC RP with a strong focus on character relationship. Possibly with some slowburn romance and smut involved as well, if characters develop that sort of connection. Pairing-wise I'm mostly looking for MxM.
Genre-wise I'm looking for a Medieval Fantasy with some slight elements of Slice of Life. I'm also looking for something that has a good mix of Action, Adventure and Romance.
I would also be thrilled if my partner was someone willing to plot and banter with me. I find it endlessly fun to casually talk about our characters and share pictures from pinterest.
Preferences
Will Do
- MxM pairings.
- Adult themes, including violence, drug use and sex.
- Mild elements of Slice of Life.
- Paragraph style RP.
- One on One RP.
Won't Do
- FxF or MxF pairings. Sorry!
- Insta romance and porn without plot. I prefer slow burn with characters that like each other.
- Script style. I don't mind shorter replies if they give me stuff to work with, however.
- RP with multiple players.
Writing
Availability and Speed
My timezone is GMT+1, but I'm about at random times. My availability and reply speed tend to vary, but I usually respond within 3 days. If there is some delay, I will definitely communicate that to my partner.
Style
I use a paragraph style in 3rd person POV. Usually I write at least 2 paragraphs, if not more. My only preference length-wise is for my partner to not send me a one liner. I know RPs can have slow points or moments where shorter replies work better. As long as I have enough to work with, it's absolutely fine! I'm also open to feedback and will gladly write more if it can help my partner! This is a cooperative thing, after all.
Writing Sample
The hitch in Keith's voice made Taelon stop and turn towards the man. His eyes were bright and wide as a wildly gleeful smile slowly crept onto his face, despite his best effort to contain it. “Yes, I did say The Dragon. You will not believe the things I can do with a silk scarf,” Taelon told him and wagged his eyebrows. The moment held, and then Taelon's face slowly crumpled with barely held back laughter, oh so warm as it rumbled within his chest. With a wave of his hand he amended, one side of his mouth persistently twisted up in a grin „I'm joking. But yes, we are going to The Dragon. The owner happens to be ridiculously knowledgeable about odd trinkets.“
Taelon made a move to continue walking and paused, his eyes glancing back to Keith. His brows furrowed as he looked over him, eyes critical and lips curved downwards as he found the man’s attire amiss. “Ah, you foreigners,” he sighed with an overly emphasized eye roll. Reaching to his waist, he unwound a wide swath of golden fabric. For but a moment there was a gleam of a short blade and then it was gone amidst red fabric.
With the golden silk draped over his arms, Taelon drew closer to Keith and threw it over the man’s head, loosely twisting it into a makeshift head covering with practice ease. The motions of his slender hands were fluid and quick. “Next time consider wearing something over your head. Sun is unkind to everyone. But this…” He flicked a twisted ending that draped from on Keith’s shoulder to the next and back. A grin pulled upwards on one side as he winked. “This you may keep.”
Sensitive Content
If you have any kind of themes you're not comfortable with, immediately let me know! I'm personally fine with anything, and don't mind writing alcohol and drug use, violence, kinks and smut. Important note: I prefer smut to happen between characters after they have developed a connection and it makes sense within the context of their relationship. Insta romance and porn without plot are not my cup of tea.
Plot Suggestions
I can roll with nearly any plot that strokes my fancy, but here is a few that give a good idea of what kind best resonates with me:
- various pirate tropes
- merfolk and humans (heck, pirates and merfolk because it's fun to mix things up)
- spies and political intrigue
- magical mysteries and spoopy treasure hunting
- and more! Don't be shy to suggest things not on this list!
Character dynamics that I tend to lean towards are:
- anything with kings and people serving them
- spies and their marks or other spies
- and more!! If any dynamic seems fun I'll go with it!
- I'm also alright with demons, tieflings and other somewhat human but not quite characters!
Writing Platform
I prefer using Discord, and largely a private server. I can however, be swayed to use Google Docs. Email and Skype are a no-go for me because they are often too clunky to use. If you want to get in touch with me, shoot me a message on Discord at Lynaiss#2683
Requirements
- You must be over 18.
- I'm 27, and I like writing all kinds of adult content. I'm not comfortable writing with someone underage.
- You use paragraph style.
- I like writing paragraph-styled replies and I'd like a partner who does as well.
- You are okay with smut (optional).
- I like writing it if it naturally comes up in the RP, but I can easily replace it with fade to black.
- You are willing to plot and plan stuff with me.
- I enjoy bouncing ideas around and coming up with all sorts of plot twists with my partners. It doesn't have to be anything very elaborate; the simple 'what if' can already be a fantastic start.
