I hope you hadn't had to see war so soon, you are a kind person, you should've been allowed to heal others instead. I blame it on others digging out things they shouldn't. Stay safe if you can.
YOU'RE SO HUUUUGE! I think you're the tallest person I've ever seen so far in my life! It was always so much riding on your shoulders and seeing the world through your height. It's gonna be so weird seeing a bunch of poppy flowers in my bag and not be able to give them to you anymore, ahaha.. ...I wish things turned out differently. I'm sure you have your reasons for continuing to side with the veil lords. Whatever those reasons were, still won't change the fact that I still think of you as my friend. I wish I can say I hope I get to see you again soon, but... Please, please continue to be safe over there.
I arrived to fulfill my duty, but upon arrival you welcomed me with open arms and offered company and conversation that soon turned to friendship. Your words brought reminders much needed, food for thought, a perspective that you tried to have me not forget about. I may be much longer lived, perhaps long enough to see my lord's goal realized, but those who don't are not to be forgotten. The lives that we look to safeguard and aid also matter. More so than them, yours has come to matter to me as family would. I wished to see you live your life and still be a part of it, but our paths could not be the same. It may have been for something out of my control that made it so I could not stay true to my promise of keeping you safe, but may you find that safety wherever you go. I loved you as a daughter, and for that, I must bid you farewell. The only part of my heart that does not belong to my lord goes with you.
You showed me that I had no need for it, not during this war, and likely not during any that are yet to come. You made your choices, and closed the door shut. I tried what I could, and I have come to accept there is only so much I can control. Opening my heart be damned.

Those who are easily swayed are not to be trusted. We stand on the same side, but I am not sure how much I can rely on that. You have your reasons, as I have mine, I hope you found the guidance you needed and the knowledge you were seeking doesn't backfire.

A knight in shining armour, a brilliant beacon for those loyal to the veils. I see the weight you carry, and I see the hurt in your eyes. Build up what walls you must to keep yourself safe, bury yourself in your work as I have mine. I don't think I'm the one to break down the gilded stone casing around your heart. But I hope one day you will find those able to break it open and let it beat freely.
