Your art is so cute!!! If you don’t mind me asking what program do you use?

I use krita! You can mimic my simple pixel style on just about any art program with a pixel brush, though. Medibang and firealpaca are other fine options.

I use a 500 x 500 pixel canvas with a 5 pixel wide lineart brush.

For even smaller adopts i use a 300 x 300 canvas

I look at plushies often for style reference. Stuffed animals have to simplify features, but in the cutest way. There’s alot of manta plushies ill look at

For chickens.. i frankly don’t know how i got the style lol. I just like drawing them fat n cute. Small wings, big fluffy butts, tiny legs, and eyes placed lower on the face seems to make em look cuter

do you have advice I can gather to help?

i just try to experiment with vibrant colors! i also take inspo from pop artists

is there a certain method you use to determine the colors on your art? it always looks so neat

and yes now i will use that advice!!! thank you

when i use darker colors i always make them more pigmented as well, and i'll also shift the color scale a bit
like, to get a deeper red i'll move more into magenta. to get a deeper green i'll move more into cyan, etc.
