honestly it's reached the point in the school year where i don't know what we're learning in any given class. OH in my film & history class we're learning about propaganda!!

i try but i cannot manage to wear any piece of jewelry consistently. but my mom gave me a necklace that matches a necklace of her own which i would like to remember to wear every day. also i made myself a "this too shall pass" kandi bracelet and i've been wearing it as a reminder to get me through this week

yeah!!! my beloved little brother :) we've always gotten along really well, we have brains that work in similar ways and tend to like a lot of the same things so we were always really close. i'd say the main way we're different is that i try really hard to see the best in things and be hopeful and he's more of a realist and sometimes teases me for romanticizing everything. also he's way more of a rule follower and perfectionist then i am, i'm trying to be a bad influence on him and get him to chill out but it's not entirely working

reading a really good book always makes me want to write!! and having quiet thinking time with something to do with my hands (hiking, shoveling snow, whatever) generally puts me in a creative mood. also for some reason every time i take the SATs or AP exams once i finish i am immediately struck with inspiration, i've developed like two entire characters while waiting for everyone else to finish exams

every medium of art has the potential to move me in a variety of ways! but i have a special place in my heart for web weaving--collages of art and quotes from a variety of sources, some widely known and respected and some weirdly specific and not the kind of thing considered "art" standing on its own. humanity writing itself the same stories and images over and over....recurring themes throughout millennia...it always Gets to me

when i got my Very First Internet Account ever, i had just read Moon Rising (i think thats what it was called), a book in the Wings of Fire series. which is a series about dragons for middle grade readers. very good series! and i loved its latest protagonist Moonwatcher, aka Moon, so i decided my username would be Moon, and then when that was (obviously) taken, Moondragon, and then when that was taken, i tacked on my favorite number, 8. (8 years old was a good age for me. also i liked how if you tilted it on its side it was an infinity sign.) hence, moondragon8! which is still my name on almost all platforms. on ones like discord or tumblr where i'm going to be actually talking to people i usually go by Sonder because i don't actually like Moon as a name, but as a username it holds a lot of nolstagic value for me

mmm probably not! there are some movies/books that make me feel so strongly emotional that i can only reread them under Very Certain Conditions, but never say never!

uhhh not sure. i like to think i'm a very easy person to read emotionally, at least if i'm feeling something really strongly

omg chamomile thats my favorite plant :) i like books!!! and anything that shows people were listening to me when i was rambling about my hyperfixation of the moment. and generally anything that shows that someone pays attention to me and what i care about

i am a romanticizer so like. a lot. living in a house by myself. perhaps decorating it with plants. going grocery shopping with somebody. riding a train (okay i've already done this but i want to do it again). i'm not sure how many times i'd have to ride a train/bus for the joy and delight of it to wear off but i want to find out!!

palm tree ⇢ do you have a fictional villain you shouldn’t like but love regardless? 

i think all my favorite fictional villains were intended to be liked at least a little bit by their creators. ...does boscha owlhouse count. she's like a middle schooler and a mean girl and has nothing else going on really but i find her bizarrely delightful. mostly because she reminds me of a character from another media who i do really like (even though that character is way more complex)

eh not really. there's a lot of posters and such up. mcr posters, night vale poster. crabitalism poster. in my other room at my mom's house (divorce!) i have a ton of playbills on the ceiling and art from various people on the walls. tons of bookshelves and stuff. i've always wanted a ~style~ but have never really achieved it

west coast smoker by fall out boy! i just discovered it recently because i saw a mutual posting about it on tumblr. i always like fall out boy songs :) i still haven't listened to all of them (or probably even most of them??) so there's always new ones for me to discover!! this one specifically i am rotating in conjunction with a certain oc of mine

the school one acts that i'm in and how that's been going and where it is going and how i'm feeling about it all (not super good)
