In the universe of Manifold, the dreaming world is a mirror dimension that is the same as ours and yet alien. There, the dreamers turn into their „Alters“, alternative versions of themselves dictated by their emotions and aspirations. The more time they spend as Alters, the more their dream self melts into their waking world self until they‘re one and the same person.
