Synopsis: Ten years ago, aliens invaded Earth and at first, nobody noticed. Adaptable creatures, impossibly many, cunning and clever they infiltrated human technology, wriggled into wires and tubes, squeezed into plastic casings, warped them, grew within them. The city of Boone was one of the first areas where they finally struck; and thousands of people died. Now, years later with the city caught in a tug of war between extraterrestrial forces and the government, cut off from the outside world, citizens are left to fend for themselves.
