The Origin + The Worlds ////

Once, there was a girl called [ Layna ] who used to be a normal girl until she got in contact with an ability that enabled her to travel into worlds and gain more abilities and learn more and more. You can learn more about her on her profile, but what you need to know is that Layna eventually travelled through so many worlds and became so powerful that she was not only a goddess, but the [ Ultimate Goddess ] . She was very happy, but despite her being a goddess, her soul couldn't keep together forever.

 

And so, one day, her end came.

Her body was turning cold and her bright, warm, shining soul that shimmered in purity and innocence and the courage she mustered up during her adventures slowly began to shatter, just like shining pieces of glass.

But they did not disappear. It was the opposite - The shards of Layna's soul began to become of great importance. Each of them gave birth of new lives. New worlds.

It might have been the end for Layna but the beginning for many others.

Souls, Life and Reincarnation ////

With the energy of Layna's soul shards, whenever a world was created, multiple souls were created along with her soul shard's energy.

At first, souls were supposed to be granted only one [life]. [Life], that was a word to define the state of a soul linking to a vessel. This, at the very same time, is the causality that enables perceiving emotions and recognizing sensations. The reason for that very small lifespan is due to the high demand of energy, which is why a soul often starts to destroy itself after a life as Layna's life herself could have only been prolonged due to gaining more power.

However, due to the creation of many afterlife worlds, many souls were not perishing anymore, but recycled for reincarnation. Due to that, it is possible for souls to live multiple different lives, then to die and to be reborn again. It is not possible to remember your past lives, unless you enter certain worlds, often surrounded by death.

The worlds of the death are often tightly linked to the worlds of the livings and one does NOT have to be dead to be visiting the worlds of death. That is due to souls having the rather unknown ability to enter different worlds when leaving their body....the official definition of this action is called [dreaming] .

Species ////

Gods/Goddesses //

A species that is exceptionally born. Their births are very rare and cannot be predicted at all. They all possess different abilities and are granted different conditions depending on the world they live in. By the way, the are very often also the creator of the world they live on. It is spectaculated that gods are born as descendants of their previous lives and that their condition(+ the world's condition) is influenced by their previous life.

Immortals //

A species that describes the subordinates of a god. Gods may have different names for their immortals.

It is very rare that an immortal does not have a god, but it is not an impossible case.

Humans //

Due to Layna being a human for most of her lifetime, many of the souls that were born through her energy were given human bodies as vessels. Humans in average have a very short timespan to live, unless it was changed (artificially or naturally) in a world.

Skydwellers //

A species that describes mostly bewinged beings in general. Their lifespan depends on their world. Their appearance and conditions too vary depending on the world.

Mysticas //

A legendary species that described beings we often know as "mythological figures".

Spirits / Ghosts //

Often the definition of beings that have deceased and lost their body vessel. Yet, they didn't pass on from the living world yet.
