I saw you as family, something i never really had outside of Reedsong, even if i never sopke about it. I can't help to feel guilty, i left you in those woods and you never returned.. Maybe one day i can look you in the eyes again and tell you..
My ampremtimce...!! Reedpaw is the sweetest cat around and I am proud to call her my apprentice. She will be a great medicine cat, I just know this. We had many disagreements, and I wish I would still see the world as she does.
Leaving to assist Wharfclan is my biggest regret that I see now as a mistake. I shouldhave stayed by her side, watch her grow as a meddie.
You are my greatest accomplishment, I am endlessly proud of you, and you are my favourite.
My mentor… I don’t know where I would be without her. I am truly blessed to have been made the apprentice of such a kind, loving and understanding cat. We don’t always share the same opinions, but that’s ok. I know that she will always do what she believes to be best for our clan, even when my own heart blinds me to it. I never blamed her even for a single day when she was away in Wharfclan. I understand why she had to go, and I know that it was the right thing to do.
Fawnecho... how am I meant to just carry on without you? You've taught me so much, not just about medicine, but about... everything. Growing up it was always just me and my sister, so having you around to explain to me all the things I didn't understand was like a blessing. I knew you wouldn't be there forever, I already learned that lesson but...
I thought we'd have more time. I thought I'd have more time to show you everything I can do, both the things I learned from you and that which I have figured out on my own. Instead your last moments are my greatest failure. I couldn't help when it mattered most, I couldn't save you. Now all I can do is to continue living by your lessons, knowing that any cat I help owes more gratitude to you than they do to me.
I never expected to meet another group of cats, one that has simmilar values. And yet... here you are. A cat whom I promised I would protect, and I did. You are my best friend Maple's Shadow, and I mean that. When Im by your side I feel that everything will be alright. Im not ready to let you go, Maple. Please dont leave so soon.
Give it up for Fawn!!! You've never held any doubt in your heart about defending me, and have shown me only the upmost of kindness. You have cared so much to know me and the rest of the Crimson Summit, and you protected me at one of the lowest points of my life... is there any way to imagine a warmer welcome? I'm so happy to be spending more time with you during our time in WhistleClan. Any cat would be changed after that near-death experience we shared, but really and truly, you've changed me for the better. I'm going to strive to be just as thoughtful, patient, and caring as you!
