The In-Between
OVERVIEW
The In-Between is an ancient realm that cannot be found in any ordinary world or plane. What was once a starry paradise filled with treasure and beauty is now left as a scarred wasteland filled with nothing but pillars and black sand. Some remnants of the floating cliffs remain but the chains that held them are long gone, making the world unstable and prone to crumble. Sitting right in the middle among the chaos he created is Elbarone himself, the God slayer that arrived and slaughtered those that remained within the realm.
Elbarone does not welcome the presence of new Gods and will see to it that they are chased out or killed.
RANKING
The only class of being that is formally allowed to enter this realm. Usually these beings are born within the realm, but outsiders were welcome to join the floating paradise.
Though viewed as lesser in power and ability, Deities still existed within the realm and prospered alongside the Gods.
Even the stars shiver at the echoes of that tyrants roars.
FACTIONS/ORGANIZATIONS
A group of crystal eaters that stalk the undergrounds of the Fallen World, stealing the crystals and returning them to the mortal worlds for a hefty price. This group in particular are rather cutthroat and their greed drives them to kill off anyone that opposes their efforts.

ABOUT
Since everything was destroyed, no life exists here anymore, only rocks and crystals. The realm is unlivable as there is no water and no food sources left, but some dark creatures lurk under the sandy tunnels and feed on the energy emitted from the white crystals below.

FALLEN WORLD
All that remains here is an endless black desert, harsh dust, and the long claw marks raking through the ground towards where Elbarone rests. There are a few pillars of rock scattered around as well as the white and black pillars that survived the massacre, but no other structures.
HALL OF THE STARS
A massive hole in the black desert leads to a vast stretch of stars, pillars, and orbs of light. The atmosphere immediately shifts to a piercing cold as soon as you enter this area and the lights from the stars and suns can be unbearable, but entering this hall fills one with feelings of wonder and unease.
THE UNDERPASS
The twisting, sandy hollows beneath the desert that hide gleaming crystals beneath the sand, these tunnels are often filled with beasts that wander in search of intruders and tasty crystals.
