Kruazo
OVERVIEW
The homeland of crime, this large city sits just beyond the forest and lavender fields. Many avoid this place as outsiders are easily spotted and sent straight to the Wailing Walls where they become nothing more than a missing poster in their homelands. Creatures also try to avoid the city so as to stay off of the black markets and exotic animal trades or avoid ending up in the butcher store. Despite being such a dark and dreadful place, the surrounding nature is pristine and beautiful in its shades of purple - it almost makes it worth risking your life to come see it. Almost.
The many stone-paved streets of Kruazo are a dusty grey that glow orange at night from the many skull lanterns that hang from dark streetlamps or are decorated on garlands that hang around the market space with their purple flowers and bright leaves bringing some nature into the city. Most buildings are square or rectangle blocks with dark purple or black roofs that offer protection from the harsh rainy season and provide nice spots to sit and watch the rest of the city from. Most balconies are filled with people doing all sorts of things and every window reveals a different styled room from the outside exterior, although sometimes it can be a little risky to glance through most windows as most of the time you end up spotting something you’d rather have not spotted. Aside from constant people walking around everywhere, sometimes you have to be careful as rampaging pets will run through the tight streets and often end up knocking others over in their panics.
RANKING
Ranking within Kruazo is usually based off power, wealth, and infamy, but doesn’t necessarily grant any sort of bonus unless you make it to the group in charge.

FACTIONS/ORGANIZATIONS
The most notable organization is the Void Express which gets people into Kruazo, as well as all around the other cities, in the first place. The Conductor appears friendly, although uncanny, to other normal passengers but reverts to his Kruazo form once all the not so evil or not criminal people arrive to their destinations.
The Dragonfly Cultists seem like an aggressive group but are actually very passive and absolutely adore nature and helping others around Kruazo. They worship Laenarin every day by working together to cook an elaborate meal for her but then return to their everyday lives without a care.
Every month of the year a masquerade ball is hosted within the depths of the Wailing Walls by a well-known demon that fancies pleasure and luxury. Hundreds attend and spend the long night dancing, with a partner - or more, or drinking away at expensive wines and other beverages.
A small restaurant on the surface that looks quiet and inviting, but behind the back door that leads deep underground lies a much larger restaurant filled with red lights and some very scary guests.

LAWS
- No other citizen in Kruazo can be killed by another citizen, this is to avoid constant bloodshed and loss of its members whilst encouraging people to hunt elsewhere and bring their chaos there instead.
- Aerostatz is not to be bothered during his slumber, otherwise you can expect certain death.
- Crime within Kruazo should be kept to a minimum to avoid large conflicts and anything big should be dealt with within the Wailing Walls.
- Anyone without citizenship is free game, however they should be sent to the Wailing Walls preferably.
ABOUT
Kruazo’s wilderness is a little sparse, specifically the animals as they prefer to hide away from humans, but common forest animals can be found everywhere if you know where to look. The majority of the flora is purple and calming to be in, but there are a few poisonous plants to be weary of. Within the city itself there are several trees that line the streets but no animals, at least not living ones.
The weather within Kruazo is very tame and never brings violent storms or anything harsh to the city or wilderness. Sometimes there are a few lightning storms during summer nights, but they are rather peaceful and beautiful to watch. Winter brings light snow into the city and shivering temperatures.

NOTABLE LOCATIONS
MIRROR RESORT
The Mirror Resort is a single, large building as well as several apartment complexes that are spread about Kruazo. These buildings can be rented out for those wanting to live within Kruazo instead of just visiting it and can be decorated to the owners likings too. The demon janitors that roam around from building to building keep everything in tip-top shape as the owner of the Mirror Resort hates unkempt rooms, but also see to any customization and decorating needs any resident may have.
MERCY VALE CLINIC
A small, cute clinic that sits near the entrance to Kruazo. Its outside appearance is quite different to its indoor walls which are a pristine white with various kawaii decorations and posters that Yuri and Happymilk put up all around the place. This area is used for any emergencies that are dragged over by the conductors when they collect people from the Void Express, but it usually isn't packed.
THE WAILING WALLS
A dark and treacherous tunnel system that stretches deep under the whole of Kruazo, the Wailing Walls acts as all sorts of different areas for certain individuals. The walls are a deep red that reflect onto the checkered marble flooring, the fluffy red carpets hiding any signs of splattered blood or the numerous drag marks that also once stained the floors. Just as its name implies, this underground area is filled with the screams of the many unfortunate humans that end up down here from any citizens hunts or just wrong place at the wrong time situations. Most view this area as a sort of club or hangout zone that comes with murder and various forms of entertainment, but others that are more business-oriented use the rooms as a safe place to discuss and plan amongst themselves. Deep within the very heart of the Wailing Walls is a large, secret area filled with file cabinet after file cabinet of information and other private notes that are guarded extremely closely. No one on the surface is really sure what's being hidden down there, but no one dares to explore as they know they would be killed too regardless of their citizenship or not. The only creature that can safely pass into this room is Mail Cat, although it always terrifies them when they have to come and collect something from here.
BOOKS KILL LIBRARY
A massive, complex library stocked full of all sorts of different books that are simple novels or powerful spell books. The interior gives off a dark academia vibe with its black bookshelves and coffee-brown furniture with purple velvet chairs to relax on. Books Kill is the second most common reason as to why someone might pay a visit to Kruazo as the library has answers or information on almost anything. There are many different sections of the library, and even an area where you can purchase any notebooks, journals, quills, special pens, or other stationery that you may need. The very back corner is a quiet room where various poisons and other dangerous concoctions are sold, although you require an invitational ticket to gain access to this area.
CRESCENT MARKET
A massive, sprawling area filled with black stalls and tents that hide curiosities within them. All sorts of strange items can wind up on one of the many counters set up in the streets, but what's mainly up for sale are illegal goods that cannot be bought from any other city without causing a stir. The streets of the Crescent Market are strung with orange lanterns shaped like various skulls, humans and canines being the most common. During all hours these streets and stalls are filled with various people browsing or just being there to pass the time, so it can be a bit of a hassle to pass through here.
RED TIGER BUTCHER
The only butcher within Kruazo is a small, red store set up on the outskirts of the Crescent Market. This building, and business, are owned by Jambon who delivers all sorts of cut-up goods and dishes throughout the city.
FORLOW FOREST
On the outskirts of the city is a massive forest filled with all sorts of green, vibrant foliage and hundreds of purple species that hide among the trees and ferns. Stretching everywhere throughout the forest are tiny streams that all connect and intertwine, which is the reason why there is so much life growing here. There are no major buildings in the forest but a few small campsites are scattered throughout it and one large but tight cave houses Laenarin, otherwise many citizens avoid venturing into the forest because there is no one out there to keep them protected except themselves.
