Hiii Yeah I use Aseprite for animation! I bought it off the website a little while ago, I highly recommend it! Its easy to use, has lots of tutorials and still gets updated regularly! It has an export option too so it can be upscaled which is good if u like posting to twitter and things like that. BUT its a pixel only animation software so if you would want to do a digital animation it unfortunately wouldnt work, but if youre after that I know of a handfull of softwares but I've not personally used any :0
For drawing the pixel its self I use Paint tool SAI! I tend to finish the whole pixel then move it to Aseprite for animation

Its alright, im glad it helped! How new are you to animation? If youd like i can explain some basics? Idm at all! Ive been animating again for roughly a year but i used to animate on flipnote hatena originally lmao. Aseprite is easy to get used to once you know where everything is!
