Winston Aviary

Welcome to the Clara Winston Aviary and Animal Refuge. Started in 1937 by famed zoologist Clara Winston with only a small patch of farm land, the Aviary and Refuge has grown to encompass 29 acres and is home to hundreds of animals. Our primary focus is the preservation and protection of avian species, but after 1984, mammals were introduced into our family. Despite its size, the Aviary and Refuge is staffed by only seven people, making use of magic to ensure the highest quality of care for its inhabitants. We are a tight-knit family all with a devotion to the care of Earth’s creatures.
