Sanctum Bay

Sanctum Bay
Found family but it's actually just a huge mishmash of horrendous people
apocalypse. dystopia. slice-of-life.
Overview
A group of 12 teenagers find themselves thrown into a sudden end-of-the-world scenario, fleeing the apocalyptic conditions and finding safety in a nearby hotel, 'Sanctum Bay'. Circumstances aren't ideal, but they make the most of them, until, of course, death inevitably comes knocking.

When all hope is lost and everything seems over, they all awaken in a totally normal, non-apocalyptic reality, each marked with a scar—the only proof of what they lived through.

Sanctum Bay is a prestigious, luxury hotel that prides itself on guest satisfaction. When a strain of a confidential bioweapon prototype seeps out of the research facility it originates from and integrates into the public, the prestige is quickly forgotten. Instead, it becomes a residence for a group of survivors until their hard-fought, grisly end. What they believed to be their end, at least.

After months of grim existence and clinging onto the last dregs of the human spirit, the survivors awaken to life as normal, the only proof of what happened being a new scar and their shared experience. As time marches on and everything continues, newcomers integrate one by one but never fully understand or share what the others went through. Although everything is now settled, the original group cannot shake the looming feeling that something similar may happen again.
