Pipfaes are 16+ only, and are primarily a Discord-based CS ARPG, and most of activities are held over on the Discord Server.

This event will be ongoing for the full month of April. Any items and MYOs obtained from launch will remain in your inventory after the event ends!

Species they have available:
Pipfaes are small fairy bat-like creatures, speculated to be heavily related to the Moon herself. They enjoy caves and narrow spaces, and only show themselves to people and creatures they really trust. They're capable of creating illusions to keep unwanted guests at bay.

Pipimps are Pipfaes who have lost something important to them (usually their beads), and the kindness of their hearts along with them. They are larger, more aggressive and don't tend to hide unlike Faes do.

Harpips are harpy-like creatures believed to be the children of the Sun. They are bird-like in behavior - often treated like angels by Pipfaes, but whether they actually have any divinity to them is unknown.

During this launch, you will be able to pick which MYO you want: Pipfae, Pipimp or Harpip.

Original Post:
I've been sitting on this idea for a hot minute now, like at least a year, but now I've finally gotten the gumption up to actually draw up some concept art. The image below is the basic Dragonkin concept art WIP sketch, though not all Dragonkin would have wings, and not all of their wings would be dragon-like. The starting base is still in the rough sketch phase, but it has made quite a bit of progress.

Basically Dragonkin are meant to be fluffy draconic canine and/or feline creatures that can range in size from a Rusty-Spotted cat to a Siberian Tiger [so smallest cat species in the world to the largest]. They are meant to primarily serve as familiars to larger draconic species, or really any kind of character you may have. Just like normal dragons they do like to hoard things, kind of like ferret mentality. Each Dragonkin is typically affiliated with at least one element from the list below, and are assigned stats at birth via virtual dice rolls made by myself or anyone who may join me as staff for this ARPG. The elements will be associated with a special rarity tier, as will certain physical traits your Dragonkin may have, traits will be added over time. Some elements may also only be acquirable by breeding two Dragonkin with specific elements to get the desired element. Though the rarity and breeding specific elements and traits will be figured out before launch. Once the starting base line art for the Dragonkin has been set, I'll start adding physical traits to the pdf.

Stats will be important for your Dragonkin as they will help determine what your Dragonkin would excel at and what it would need to work on improving via training and leveling up. We will have an eventual monthly quest feature that you can partake in as one of your Dragonkin, and it will be very RPG like. I also want to have mini-games that your Dragonkin can take part in for fun rewards. There's honestly lots of things I'd like to fine tune and implement, such as breeding!

Since this will be a semi-closed species, at least to start, breeding would be done by choosing two parents [you would need to own at least one of the parents] and the ARPG's official artists would work on drawing 1-6 Dragonlings for each pairing. You would then be asked to pick at least 1 [if the litter consists of only 2] or up to 3 [if the litter consists of 6] of the offspring for you to do whatever with while the rest may be raffled, auctioned, or even given away by the artist that did them [up to the artist at that point]. Since these specific breedings would be free this would be our way of ensuring the artist doing the Dragonling art also gets something out of the work they'd be putting forth. However, free breedings would also be limited to one per user per month for the time being, so as to not overwhelm the official species artists. If we get big enough then we will come up with a hard limit to how many free breedings can be done each month, and an RNG system to determine who would be picked that month for the free breeding. If the parents are owned by two different users then a litter of at least 5 would be created and each user would be asked to pick up to two Dragonlings each for them to keep or do whatever they wish with. Dragonlings will not be considered custom Dragonkin, and will have a look that is an equal yet appealing blend of both parents. The Dragonling designs will be purely up to the artist doing them! We will also be tracking Dragonkin ID's [what number they claimed upon creation and design approval], as well as Dragonkin generations [so whether they are gen1 (custom) or gen2+ (offspring)], and each Dragonkin's offspring for fun lore keeping sake!

During each month special events will be held by the ARPG staff and approved event hosts that all members of the species can partake in. MYOs will be something that can be earned by participating in events, overtime by being active, and/or paying real world money for a custom Dragonkin. The species will be semi-closed while starting out in order to allow me to be able to keep up with the potential growth and set up the ARPG would need each month until I can get some helpers for it. My original world, Vakaroria, and its lore will be used as the home world of the Dragonkin, but they can be found in any world you tend to RP in, as this will be a pretty RP heavy species.

There's still more details to iron out, but if enough people are interested then I may start setting up a discord server, DA group, and Toyhou.se world for the Dragonkin. I do plan to host a fun launch event when the species is ready to be released, but in the meantime I would love to see who all would be interested in participating when it becomes available. RSVPing now would help me a lot when the launch date arrives!

As of right now, I am thinking the launch event [once I'm ready] will consist of a combination of a free MYO event, as well as free to enter raffles that will be held at least once a week, if not once a day. New members to the species would also get a free MYO token to use in order to help them have their very custom Dragonkin! All MYOs must be approved by Dragonkin staff to ensure they follow species standards. MYO token costs, as well as P2E raffles, starting bids for auctions, and flat sale adopts will all be on the lower end price wise in order to help make this semi-closed species more accessible to all.

I've spent all month preparing for this year's Art Fight, and oh boi am I excited!
