Illirah

The Chronicles of Illirah is an original fantasy series broken up into 9 semi connected arcs. These written and drawn stories will follow several groups of animals on their journey to fix a crumbling world.

1. Genesis
   • Time range: Summer of 1342 New Era
   • The world of Illirah is off balance. The seasonal rains that kept the deserts hospitable have disappeared. The oceans have become so turbulent just being on their shores is deadly. The northern territories have been enveloped in an impenetrable shroud for over a millennium. Now the land of the Crystalline is under siege by a powerful and nearly ancient threat. For 17 years the Shardbound Empire has attempted to unite the south western region of Illirah forging an alliance with the 10 lion prides remaining in the grasslands...all other predators are expendable as far as the Emperor is concerned. Tariq, a scimitar cat from the highlands bordering the Empire learns this first hand when he, his father, and elder sister are captured by the Empire to be used as fodder for the Emperor's soon-to-be war with the smilodon, bear, and hyena kingdoms to the south. It will take all of Tariq's wit and patience as well as the help from unlikely allies to save not only his family, but potentially all of Illirah itself.
2. Bury Me Shallow

   • Deep within the unforgiving dunes of the central desert lies the Oasis led by the powerful Regis and their kin. Two Sandswept lionesses-Sadzi and Mirazh-find their lives interconnected through prophecy and fate.
3. Ties That Bind
   • Time Range: 1349-1350 New Era
   • Mysterious reports of magical mishaps are trickling in from the southern plains, near Silverfang kingdom. Familiar faces and new friends must team up to defeat an ancient, long forgotten threat.
4. Shattered Pieces
   • Time Range: 1353 New Era
   • Years after meeting in the desert, Mirazh and Lochan's paths cross again in the Flowerbloom-a bustling market run by the Triumvirate. Little do they know a string of misfortune is about to find itself in the Bloom and they may be the only ones with answers to stop it all.
5. Blood Ties
   • Time Range: 1337-1345 New Era
   • The Auroramane pride is one of the 10 lion prides who've allied themselves with the powerful Shardbound Empire. They provide bountiful food stock in exchange for protection from rogues, however danger from within may prove far more deadly than enemies across boundaries.
6. Apotheosis
   • Time Range: 1355 New Era
   • Sable, Celeste, & Percy are missing however an older, more powerful threat has come to Crystalspire mesa and it wants Callisto.
7. Mystery of the Mists
   • Time Range: 1355 New Era
   • Strange dreams have been plaguing the mind of young Sable with one message: a call that needs to be answered.

9. Primal
   • Time Range: 694 Old Era
   • 6 young Galewing lions disperse from their home pride in search of a new, fresh life together. They decide to try their luck in the Unknown-a place rarely explored due to rumours of mysterious unseen terrors.
