Yeaaah so recently this weird feeling of being unable to make or complete designs has been eating me from the inside out. LIKE I am so fr when I tell u Im going insaner each time I try to design/redesign A STUPID ASS CHARACTER IM SO NORMAL RN.

I. Dont know how this came to be honest to god. Maybe Ive beeb stuck in a cycle of firstly redesigning then getting stuck with like. Commissions for a month or two and then I try to design and. NOTHING. Genuinely nothing I make expect that one adopt has been completed and Im getting real annoyed with it. The amount of art that Ive scrapped because of this frustration is kinda crazey 

BUT what I wanted to ask was. How do yall deal with this? If anybody's ever had it. Or art block in general Im just rlly craving to get out of this rabbit hole of inability and. Idk create smth cool 🫵

Im thinking of adding like... some type of gameboy green to the tubes to give it a lil life BUT at the same time should I?? Cuz idk if adding anything but reds and warm colours would fit the song BUT WELL SEE WHEN I GET TO IT!!!

Man it feels awesome to get back into making adopts 😼 IM SO EXCITED HELL YEA!!!!

I think I have a pretty neat species in my mind booger THAT COULD BE PRETTY COOL!!!

This is what I got rq, mostly just trying out their traits and such!!! You cant really see that here that great, BUT They r transparent in some places! The chest, to be exact, they have a item (that represents the myo, each rarity has its own myo item) that acts like the heart

They are also something of amphibians! They live mostly inside the ocean, inside that big monster on the left! Its a somewhat cybernetic (tho that can change depending on the design and myo)

However they come on the shore, once  in a year for a month where they carry their homes onto the shore with them, usually transforming them inot shops and such, as that month is a time for them where they can meet eachother and just be social!

They always have some kind of horn/horns, whiskers and somwthing of a hair (tho its most similiar to that of a jelly fish or that of a sea slug skin)

They breath smoke and usually have some type of bioluminesence.

Theres also something called King items, that have an incredibly low chance of obtaining when finishing a quest, however it will make your guy basically one of the kings and royals, giving them pretty damn awesome traits and high standing in society, wich will give u a really good bonuses on loots from quests and stuff!

I was thinking of making the whole species into something like an rp/dnd!! Based on the dice rolling system that can be joined (but doesnt have to be, I think it would just be fun)

THO ALL OF THAT IS JUST A CONCEPT!! Idk if to make it into reality or not, and Im still in the experimental stage.

Id love some feedback on waht you think could make the species great/ waht youd like to see in a closed speices in general :>>!!!

Well, well, well! If it aint 2023 coming to an end.

Its been an unbelievable year, and I can only thank you all for making it be possible for me, LIKE.

The things that happend will always stay in my fond memories, I got to go to an art school, got to meet new amazing friends, got to design cool creatures and actually get closer to my goal of yk. Getting myself out there!

2023 has so far been the most enjoyable year of my life, thank you <33

Finish all the commissions that are still in queue at the start of the year, then take a break from comms

Possibly, very hopefully work on a game?!1?1

Try out new stuff and events, like DTIYS, DTAs, Even ANIMATION?1!?2! HELLO??

And also!!! Try my hand at actually talking to manufacturers and making some cool merch?!1?2 (personal, ofc. I aint that delulu, but I think the experience with making products will be handy!)

Also, just get myself out here on toyhouse and spread my name! Sounds a little silly when I put it like that, but it is one of my dreams.

HAI!!! Finally got to sit down for a while and draw!!! AND IM ACTUALLY RLLY PROUD OF THIS ONE SO FAR!!! Sadly I wasnt exactly succesful at keeping the astronaut vibes and instead moving to a bit "Abandoned at an alien planet vibe" AGH well!!! Might make some last minute chnages but!!! So!!! I feel like I owe a little bit of an explanation on why I havent posted ANYTHING. Its entirely because of Art schopl, or well. for the most part. I do have pretty crazy hours and like. Sometimes its just been hard to make art/adopts or finish anything 🫵 DONT GET ME WRONG I absolutely love my art school is really fun and everybody is super nice!!! maybe just dont expect me to post adopts as much? I wpuld love to put em out as often as I sued to but again with the classes and such I just cant do that exactly!

BUT I do plan to hopefully post some soon!! I also want to regain that excitement for making adopts, because yk. It is fun and I still wanna try loads of new events and designs!!
